Annemieke Mein– textile artist from Australia. She carefully selects colors, materials (silk, wool, fur, felt, cotton, synthetic fabrics, beads) and equipment (hand and machine embroidery, cross-linking of three-dimensional parts, dyeing, applique, stitching, draping, weaving) for each fantastically amazing detail of her works. Annemieke was born in Holland in 1944. At the age of seven she moved with her parents to Australia. She was the first textile artist to be member of Wildlife Art Society of Australasia and the Australian Guild of Realist Artists
