I completely forgot that I was going to show how to get into American University without any agencies involved:
Firstly, find the University u like - everything is very well accessible through the web. Just know what u want - U will have to apply to a college of something, for example college of Liberal Arts, just Arts, Design, etc. With me it was college of Graphic Design at the University of MN http://design.umn.edu Reasons? Firstly, I liked Minneapolis, I lived here for a year and kind of familiar with everything, Secondly, my Desktop publishing class at San Antonio, Tx was interesting enough for me to think I wonna have a career connected to it. Thirdly, 13 credit policy, meaning any credit u take over 13 is basically free. I thought Ill come and take 30 but turns out max is 20 without registrar's permission.

I actually looked at a couple more : North Park University in Chicago http://www.northpark.edu and University of Texas in San Antonio http://utsa.edu
University of Minnesota turned out to have their shit together, to always reply to my emails, phone calls and give the best advising, so it was a good choice. If they don't give u enough attention - it means that they are wasting ur money, which is a LOT!
