Is he russian? There's nothing wrong with dating not an american. Honestly, even though my hubby is an american, he is a lot different than a typical one, you know. If you met him, you wouldn't think he is an american unless you knew that. And I don't have good experience in american guys stuff, cause I'm married. I'm sure there's plenty of guys here, who will bore to death such a smart and pretty girl like you, because in its essence americans are pretty much not very bright. I remember I had this complaint when I was single back in Russia. The solution for this is to date older man. They tend to be a little more interesting and smart. They won't bore you... :-)

Ispanka, I am really happy for you. There's nothing wrong with a spaniard. He's not mexican or south american, he is from Spain, big difference.
BTW, regarding lack of smart and nice guys.... usually the only guys that have the courage to come up and talk to such a pretty girl like you are the ones who are too confident or just dicks... other guys are too polite and are sure you're taken or just turn them the fuck down. The solution for that is to come up to them on your own...
But I guess, if you have your love then why look anywhere else... as long as you're happy!

Did you meet him in Spain?
Another question I had for you is how did you get to study in an American Uni. My gf from Russia is going through some program that'll allow her to study in an american U if she goes through. I'd just like to find out some more about it. i don't know if it's the same program or what...

Elena_Ollick, we went to same university, so I met him in US. I was on the bascetball scholarship here at first, then I was working for a project finance firm in DC and they were paying for my tuition.
