Treble / Double crochet – tr / dc

2 tr/dc decrease – 2 dec: work 3 incomplete tr/dc , yarn over the hook and draw yarn through all loops on your hook.

3 tr/dc decrease – 3 dec: work 4 incomplete tr/dc , yarn over the hook and draw yarn through all loops on your hook.

5 tr/dc decrease – 5 dec: work 6 incomplete tr/dc , yarn over the hook and draw yarn through all loops on your hook.

Stitch - st

Row 1: skip 3ch, work 2 dec (into next 3 foundation ch), *7ch, 5 dec (into next 6 foundation ch); rep from *, 7ch, 3 dec, turn.

Row 2: 3ch, *6tr/dc in 4th ch of row below; rep from*, 1dc/sc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 3: 3ch, work 2 dec (into first 3 tr/dc of shell below) , *7ch, 5 dec (work into last 3 tr/dc of shell below and in 3 tr/dc of next shell); rep from *, 7ch, 3 dec (work into last 3 tr/dc of shell below and in 3 rd ch), turn.

Repeat rows 2 - 3 until you have reached your desired length.
