Yarn: Novita Pop, 70 g, or corresponding yarn,

14 st and 18 rows / 10 cm (maybe some aran weight yarn would be suitable)

Needles: 5mm circular needle 40 cm long, 5 mm douple point needles and crocheting hook if you want to make a flower. One stitchmarker (SM).

Cast 80 st

1. row: SM, *knit 1, purl 3* repeat * - * to the end of row.
2. row: knit 1 , * purl 2 , knit the knit st from left needle after the purl stich, then knit the purl st and release both stitches from the left needle*
   (You can do this with cable needle,too. Put the purl st to cable needle to the back of work, knit 1, purl the cable needle st. First way seems easier when you have to do this 20 times at the row)Repeat * _ * until row is finished.
3. Repeat rows 1 and 2, notice that knit stitches are moving to right.

When the Bibo is about 14 cm high (ca. 29 rows) start decreases:

Start with the rib row:* knit 1, purl 1, purl 2 together, knit 1, purl 3*, repeat ´til the end of row.

You have now 70 sts.

Knit next row as usual, moving stitches to right.

Next row: *knit 1, purl 1, purl 2 tog, knit 1, purl 2*, repeat. You have now 60 sts.

Knit nex row as usual.

Next row: *knit 1, purl 2 tog, knit 1, purl 2*, repeat. You have 50 sts left.

Knit next row as usual.

Next row: *knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 2 tog*, repeat. You have now 40 sts of K1P1 rib.

Continue decreases at every row and remember to move stitches to right at every other row.

Right slanting decreaces: decreace every other purl sts as following: knit 1,* purl 1,knit 1, put both sts back to left needle, slip knit stich over the purl st, put that one st back to right needle,purl 1,knit 1* Repeat * - * ´til the end of row, purl 1. Now you have 30 sts of knit 2, purl 1 -rib.

Next row:decreaceall purl sts like you did in last row.

Next row: decreace every other knit st.

When there is 10 sts left, cut the yarn and bind off.

Now your Bibo might need some steaming to get stitches behave nicely.

Crocheting the flower:

Twist the yarn once around you finger to form a ring and crochet to the ring as follow:
1. row: 3 ch (= 1.dc), *2 ch, 1 dc*, repeat * _ * 5 more times, 2 ch. Close the row with sl st.
2. krs: *4 dc to next ch-2 space, 1 sc to first rows dc*, repeat * _*5 more times. Close the round with sl st.

Attach the flower to your bibo, put the bibo on and look at the mirror. Smile
