i was looking though the Marathon pix, and saw them. my first reaction was like WTF?
then I googled it and start reading. i dont imagine myself having such an amazing strength to hold on to a baby in such a state as that. what an amazing parents, and how they fought for their kid. this what also got me - “He ran with a bag of cement in the wheelchair because Rick was at school and studying, unable to train with him”
When God gives you a gift of a child he also give you unexplainable love and strength to care for him. Human life and soul are the most sacred and priceless things there are in this world, regardless of the body. It's awesome that this family recognizes that and is spreading the word.
i start thinking about it just after finishing that article.
i am a bad runner, my cardio sucks. but then, "the only difference between a hill and a mountain is something called attitude". so i'll train, and hopefully one day I ran in Boston)
Yeah, I'd probably kill myself if I tried to do eve a 5k )) Boston Marathon is a great goal to have. Then Ironman in Hawaii ;) I just don't enjoy running, I'd rather skate.
