Baby,
I have been meaning to talk to you about certain issues for a while
already. I thought that we could discuss them in person when I get
back, but now I think that it is better not to wait until then.
A few days ago you were telling me about some of your concerns
regarding our relationship. In particular, you pointed out that I am
not paying enough attention to you lately since I am always busy with
other things. Well, as I told you, I do agree and I am working to
change that. I want to emphasize, however, that (now as always) I do
think of you much more often that you may sense.
Now, I would like to tell you some of my concerns regarding our
relationship. I think that you have changed considerably during this
past year. To be precise, I feel that the fresh, full-of-life,
radiant, and exciting girl with whom I felt in love has disappeared.
Instead, I often find you bitter, irritable by all sort of issues,
and, worst of all, pissed off at life. All this negativity is not
helped by the fact that you---a 25 year old lady---attempt to feel
better with antidepressants. Quite honestly, this behavior of yours
has led me, for the first time, to doubt about the success of our
relationship.
We have often talked about the fact that a person demonstrates who
he/she really is when subjected to difficult situations. Here we have
it: a difficult situation. Let us then demonstrate who we really are.
Me, is simple. I am a guy that is in love with a beautiful Russian
girl. I am a guy that wants to spend the rest of his life with this
beautiful Russian girl. I want our life together to be exiting and
adventurous. I want to do so many things with her which I have not
been able to do so far: visit the Olympic National Park near Seattle
in November, spend a romantic weekend in Paris in December, vacation
in a tropical island in the middle of nowhere, visit Hong Kong next
summer, etc...etc...etc... I want to have a family with her. I want
her to feel loved by me. I want to get old with her. In short, I want
to share my life with her to the fullest. I only hope that you
demonstrate that the fresh, full-of-life, radiant, and exciting girl
with whom I felt in love is still in you.
Relationships are very difficult. I think that ours has a tremendous
potential to be great and for this reason I am in to work for it.
Hopefully you feel the same way.
Your baby
