I caught a shuttle back in 2005. Then it was quick, safe, inexpensive. What time are you arriving to the airoport?
I say, try to call Sheremet'evo, that's how my mom found out about it. And they run pretty late too. I took mine at 11pm.

Needless to say taxi drivers will try to rip you off - they will even tell you that shuttles don't run on that day :))) So watch out.
