Double crochet / Single crochet – dc/sc

Treble / double crochet – tr/dc

Front-popping popcorn – f.popcorn: work 5 tr/dc in the same stitch, drop the loop from your hook. Insert your hook from front to back under the top 2 loops of the first tr/dc of the group and grab the dropped loop. Pull it through the stitch.

Back-popping popcorn – b. popcorn: work the same but insert your hook from back to front.
