LG, which confirmed first place in the regular league and went straight to KS for the first time in 21 years, finished the final game of the regular league on October 15 and rested for just three days, then began preparations for KS with camp training at LG Champions Park in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do starting on October 19.
After adjusting his sense of real-life performance through two matches against Blue and White in Icheon, he moved to Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on October 29 and raised his pitch with one match against Blue and White and a practice game against Sangmu from October 31 to November 1.

Unlike competing teams that use 13 pitchers in the postseason entry (30 per team), LG will increase the number of pitchers by one to 14.
