Today the weather was uncertain so we didnt go to Safeway as planned.
Instead we practiced mostly inside
We practiced:
entries and exits (front door, room door, and door to patio)
walking with wheelchair in car park
sit, down
targeting (with target stick at 12 24 inches, moving in straight line and circle, near wall, above head height and close to floor)
Leave It with food in hand, then food on floor, then food on paw
Get it (with toy) Yepa was more able to play today she picked up the toy and gave it to me several times
New:
- We worked on desensitizing Yepa to the elevator she was afraid of it at first but with slow and gentle steps she gradually felt safer, and ended up going up to the next floor and down again.
