Sapa is litle town on the Yungui Plateau near the boarded with China. It is recreation place with different mountain resorts and I suppose tourism is the main source of money for this place. The way to Sapa takes night on train from Hanoi to Lao Cai and after that 1 hour by bus to mountains. I dare say this is wonderful place. Town is placed little bit above long valley which frimed by two mountain ridges. Fast creeks run from the slopes of this ridges and create big fast river and beautiful waterfalls near it. 

Sapa is't very big and crowdy town and it gives a chance to rest after noizy Hanoi. Catholic church and round square are placed in central part of town. Market place also is not far from this place.

 

It could be seen from this pictures that weather in this place is unpredictable. It rains few time per day but after than sky absolutely clear. Sometimes clouds cross the town and you find yourself in cold humid mist. Houses in Sapa have same stile as houses in another cities in Norther Vientnam but most of them is hotels.

If speak about Sapa itself there is no so many scenery places almous all of them are placed near it and you should walk or drive there. But one of scenery places is national garden. There are a lot of different flowers, herbs, beautiful stones. I took a lot of pictures in that place but may be I will publish them later. I guess the first days of April are time for start of blossom and many flowers hadn't  been open yet but it was pretty enough for me who never see so many different kind of flowers in their native environment.


This garden is placed above Sapa it means that gives opportunity to enjoy magnificent views.

And main place for that is special observing tower from which you can see every corner of Sapa.
