And your problem is?
I do not like to use American grammar, simply because American English is not English but a pale imitation of HML (Her Majesty Language - for ppl with IQ < 1).
And if you do not like, what you see, just don't come here or if you already came, then leave... and keep your opinion to yourself.
btw, one of the Constitutional rights is to do, whatever everyone wants - it's still a free country, so honey, stuff it and 'buh bye' (American 'nough 4 ya?)
Another advice for you: Midwest is a 'redneck' zone, and real proper American English is in New England and in the City that never sleeps (sans Brooklyn and other 3 boros)

As 4 ur friend, Americanca, which is most likely, ur other handle, or 3rd 1, who cares, she should go to the elementary school and start learning everything starting from alphabet, even Russian: and u R Russians, and then, and ONLY then talk about other ppl' 'mistakes'!
