On Germanys largest exhibition for tuning and Motorsport Essen Motor Show, Skoda Auto has brought the concept version of the new rally car Fabia R 5.

The concept Skoda Fabia R 5 is designed to lift the veil of secrecy on the new rally car, the base of which was a new generation of serial Fabia hatchback.

World premiere in Essen conceptcar Fabia R 5 allows us to look at future sports brands and sports Department of the Skoda Motorsport team in the rally.

Actually, the homologation of the vehicle will be held until mid-2015.

New Skoda Fabia R 5, the development of which was attended by leading athletes FIA equipped with the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 5-speed sequential gearbox.

The weight of the vehicle will be at least 1230 kg

Among other high-profile Prime Minister of the Czech carmaker in Essen  the fastest in the history of the brand Octavia RS model Rapid Spaceback, Yeti Citigo and in the version of Monte Carlo, as well as the spectacular show cars Yeti Extreme, CitiJet and Rapid Spaceback Red  Grey Collection.
