This radio conversation was registered by radio fans several years ago.
Spaniards and Americans are talking to each other by radio. .
It's happening in the sea near cape Finisterre,north-west part of Spain.
Spaniards(noise):
-A-853 is speaking.Please,turn on 15 degrees to the south to avoid collision with us.
You're moving straight to us,it's already 25 sea miles between us.
Americans(noise):
-We advise you to turn on 15 degrees to the north to avoid collision with us.
Spaniards:
The asnswer is negative.We repeat,turn on 15 degrees to the south to avoid collision
with us.
Americans(another voice):
The captain of the USA Navy fleet is speaking.Turn on 15 degrees to the north to avoid
collision with us.
Spaniards:
-We afraid your offering is impossible.We advise you to turn on 15 degrees to the south
to avoid collision with us.
Americans(very angrily):
-The captain Richard James Howard is speaking.I'm a captain of the ship "Lincoln"
of the USA Navy!!It's the second biggest ship of the USA Navy.We are
followed by 2 cruisers,6 planes,4 submarines and many ships of support!!!
I don't "advise",I order you to change your rate on 15 degrees to the north!Otherwise
we'll have to take all necessary measures to provide our ship's security.Get out of our
way now!!
Spaniards(calm voice):
-Huan Manuel Salas Alcantara is speaking.There're just two of us here.We are followed
by dog,supper,two bottles of beer and canary ,which is sleeping now.We are supported
by the only one radio station "La Koruna".We aren't going to turn anywhere,because
we are BEACON A-853.We absolutely don't know what place on size we take
among Spanish beacons.You can take all f**king measures ,which you think are
necessary,and you can do anything to provide security of your f**king ship,which,
anyway,will smash on the rocks.We repeat once again,just change your rate on 15 degrees
