Foundation Chain: Multiples of 9 + 4

4 Long h.tr / h.dc decrease - 4 h.tr/h.dc dec.

8 Long h.tr / h.dc decrease - 8 h.tr/h.dc dec.

Treble / Double treble – tr / dc

Row 1: 2 ch miss, * 1 dc/sc in next, 3 ch miss, 4 tr/dc in the same ch, 4 tr/dc in next ch, 3 ch miss; rep from*, 2 dc/sc in last chs, turn.

Row 2: 3 ch, work 4 h.tr/h.dc dec. in next way:

* Yarn over hook, insert hook into next tr/dc and draw up a loop about 1 cm long;

rep from* 3 times.

Yarn over and draw through 8 loops,

yarn over and draw through 2 loops.

3 ch, 1 dc/sc in fourth tr/dc, 1 dc/sc in next, * 3 ch,

8 h.tr/h.dc dec. over tr/dc below (work like 4 h.tr/h.dc dec., but make 8 long loops),

3 ch, 1 dc/sc in fourth tr/dc, 1 dc/sc in next; rep from*, 3ch, 4 h.tr/h.dc dec., 1 tr/dc in second ch below, turn.

Row 3: 3ch, 4 tr/dc in top of decrease stitches, * 1 dc/sc in first dc/sc below, 8 tr/dc in top of decrease stitches; rep from*, 1 dc/sc in first dc/sc below, 4 tr/dc in top of decrease stitches, 1 tr/dc in third ch, turn.

Row 4: 2 ch, * 1 dc/sc in next tr/dc below, 3 ch, 8 h.tr/h.dc dec. over tr/dc below, 3 ch, 1 dc/sc in fourth tr/dc; rep from*, 1 dc/sc in third ch, turn.

Row 5: 2 ch, 1 dc/sc in next dc/sc, *8 tr/dc in top of decrease stitches, 1 dc/sc in first dc/sc below; rep from*, 1 dc/sc in second ch.

Repeat rows 2 - 5 until you have reached your desired length.
