"I am particularly inspired by Scottish legends, folklore and fairytales which I source from the old oral storytelling tradition, songs, poetry and other printed texts.
I work on paper using mainly pastel, ink, acrylic paint, gold leaf and collaged materials. My commissions have included posters and illustrations for the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh. "(с)Kate Leiper
