Z INTRODUCTION
In the universe of this character, vampirism is an ancient virus. It disturbs the work of the whole creature, including its individual code(mAgEk) and its body system.
Vampirism has a "deadly disease" status since it "turns "on" the aging mod" in a creature's body. And aging can lead to natural death, y'know.
Z FEEDING
Vampires may eat everything, in fact, but it makes no sense. Their bodies became too lazy to create any kind of Impulse, they have to steal it to remain functioning. (oh, welcome to the part of the lore you never heard about - the impulse; It's a "special" energy that makes local anti-realistic bodies live for too long, produced by the Motivator usually)
Passively they "steal" some energy even by standing somewhere near. Some of them probably love hugs. But bite always brings them more.
So, ye, these dudes aren't exactly about blood, but they still suck.
Z ISSUES
Vampires get old and drying out due to errors the virus cause. The last stage is a pile of dust.
Their regeneration is pretty "close to earth", they reversing back to the "save point" every time. But they can't grow a new hand if it has been lost. However, the trick with "sew ones hand back on" can work during certain stages.
Besides starving, the magic solar (outdated technology) and enchanted (actively using in the majority of Houses) lamps badly affect vamps' wellbeing. Classic.
However, there's no true sun in the world, so a vamp walks calmly under non-enchanted light and in the dark Forest.
But no "holy" stuff can help tho. You don't cure flu by kissing wood, after all.
