I didn't have time to draw today, but I really wanted to make something as a tribute to Diamond Tiara after the newest episode.
I found a quote online that I felt fit her situation pretty well, and used vectors to help illustrate the emotions.
To think this entire time, Diamond Tiara has been hated when the reality was, she was suffering.
What's even more sad, there are people like this in real life.. Families who are raising their children to think the way they do.
She was being neglected her whole life to be taught that because they were rich, they were more important, and that money can get you everything in life; which is never a way to live.
Diamond Tiara's personality makes perfect sense, now that we've been introduced to Spoiled Rich..
And to me, it was honestly a punch to the gut.
I wanted to hug her after this episode, and I have never been happier to see a character's redemption. She was too young to be going through that kind of pressure.. and thanks to Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara has a new future to look foreward to.
Teaches us a lesson as well; most of the time when someone is acting out or bullying others, it is because they are fighting their own battles we know nothing about. Goes to show, you never really know what's going on in someone's life, so give everyone you meet the same respect and kindness as you would to those who show it to you.
Everyone 's fighting their own battles one way or another, and sometimes even the seemingly strongest can break.
And those people are usually the ones who have no one to turn to..
Diamond Tiara's story actually impacted me more than the CMC's getting their cutie marks.
But knowing all of them know their place in the world now, it made me cry at the end. It was a beautiful episode..
And I'm glad they're covering more relatable issues like this.
