A reconstruction of Dilophosaurus wetherilli based on a study published at the beginning of this month of July 2020 in which the appearance of the crest of this animal is questioned, because although since 1954, based on the UCMP specimen 37302 described by paleontologist Samuel Paul Welles few specimens of the species have been described, the truth is that since in most cases these remains are fragmentary, and a complete skull has not been found to date, the shape of the skull has been misinterpreted so far. Mainly due to a small protruding part that was thought to be a point outside the ridge, according to this year's reconstruction based on the UCMP 77270 sample that shows that this structure was part of the complete ridge, which has made the authors of the study suggest Marsh A. and Rowe T. that this animal would have had a keratin-covered structure on the ridge, very similar to modern guinea fowl and cassowaries, who have a crested skull covered in keratin. Although the complete shape of the ridge is not known in the fossil record, this study proposes that it may have been larger than previously thought based on modern animals.
Only a finding of a complete skull will give us a better idea of the appearance of this animal.

Una reconstrucciуn de Dilophosaurus wetherilli basada en un estudio publicado a comienzos de este mes de julio de 2020 en el cual se cuestiona la apariencia de la cresta de este animal, pues si bien desde 1954 que en base al ejemplar UCMP 37302 descrito por el paleontуlogo Samuel Paul Welles se han descrito pocos ejemplares de la especie, lo cierto es que como en la mayorнa de los casos estos restos son fragmentarios, y no se ha encontrado un crбneo completo hasta la fecha, se ha malinterpretado hasta ahora la forma del mismo. Principalmente por una pequeсa parte sobresaliente que se pensaba era una punta fuera de la cresta, segъn la reconstrucciуn de este aсo en base al ejemplar UCMP 77270 demuestra que dicha estructura era parte de la cresta completa, lo que ha hecho sugerir a los autores del estudio Marsh A. y Rowe T. que este animal habrнa poseнdo una estructura cubierta de queratina sobre la cresta, muy similar a las gallinas de guinea y casuarios modernos, quienes poseen un crбneo crestado cubierto de queratina. Si bien la forma completa de la cresta no se conoce en el registro fуsil, este estudio propone que pudo haber sido mayor a lo que se pensaba basado en animales modernos.
Solo un hallazgo de un crбneo completo nos darб una mejor idea de la apariencia de este animal.

And so this was the result! I drew Chelsea in a black dress with white dots. This is, of course, a reference to Monarch butterflies and their black bodies filled with white dots. Of course, this is still just a concept; a work in progress. Not sure if it's official. What do you think?

Also, I brightened the orange on the bottom half wings, much like how real Monarch butterflies' bottom half wings are brighter than the top half wings. Does this look good to you?

Closing out the July OC Swimwear poster set is another OC from this time it's Chloe in her white drawstring bikini looking very cute here oh Fun Fact: the bikini that I am using for her poster was a dynamic cloth made for the model that I am using it took some time since i've haven't use a dynamic cloth on DAZ Studio in years so when it comes to this it's all about where the clothes are placed near the figure and for the backshot pose for the full shot thst was the most challenging because I had to shape the bikini bottom right so when the program basically molds the cloth onto the figure it doesn't look bunched up so after timing and stretching and some trial and error we have what we see today and cute OC with a sexy figure with a hot bikini wrapped around her body.

Hatenna: A reclusive Pokйmon, it has a strong sense of emotion, being able to sense other creatures' emotions via the protrusion on its head. It never warms up to people that do not have a calm disposition.

Hattrem: makes use of its ponytails as hands, pummeling its foes with them. One blow from these ponytails would knock out a professional boxer. Hattrem will violently silence anything nearby expressing or feeling strong emotions

Hatterene: has a solitary and reclusive nature, emitting psychic powers strong enough to cause headaches as a method to deter others from approaching and disturbing it. It has also been observed that it dislikes loud noises, tearing apart perpetrators with the claws on its tentacle as a result. Due to its long hair obstructing its floating body, Hatterene's main forms of locomotion are levitation and short-distance teleportation. This Pokйmon is also known as the Forest Witch.

The rendering messed up so bad that I had to go in photoshop to try to salvage it and remove the grains myself but this is the best i could do and its probably still bad
