Small celebration for Ayla and My 2year anniversary being in TWWM
The wind felt good as it slipped between the feathers of her wings, she soared high above the earth, watching the fields and forests whisk away beneath her. She zipped along, diving lower to skim along a lake, following the river's flow out to the shore before slicing through an ocean wave, the salty froth clinging to her petals. Rushing back along the shore for a while before floating inland again to glide above rippling meadows, flexing her growth elemental to cause waves of rolling grasses to rush upwards towards her, pulling the grass past their natural height before releasing it to tumble in the wind. Flowers seemed to gurgle forth from the ground, sprouting eagerly in her wake, bursting open with a flash of orange light. The glow thrummed beneath her, as if she rode upon a wave of light, scattering leaves and petals upwards. She beat her wings faster, willing herself to rocket across the flat meadow, the wave of growth roaring after her, rippling eagerly, a plume of earthen scents and motes of light. Weaving between the beasts of the land as they grazed, she felt the joy of freedom rumbling in her core. How splendid to feel the wind. How invigorating to feel the warmth of the sun. As she rushed towards the edge of the forest before her, she rushed upwards into the sky once again, unfurling her wings to catch herself and hover above the treetops. Below her, the grasses tumbled apart, falling back into their natural order. She felt a smile tugging at her heart, and was about to take off again, when suddenly she felt a strange pull. Something caught at her attention. Spinning, she scanned the area around her. No...it wasn't here. It was something further away...
