This is a one of a kind handmade sculpt of Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic with an older Princess Celestia proportioned body. She is a 6" figure, from hoof to crown and painted with leg and wing fades, rainbow power wing feathers, extra yellow in her detailed mane, white sparkles, and crown with custom designed shoes and necklace. Her eyes and eyelashes are 3D and fully carved.
I only make ONE Twilight Sparkle a year for auction, as tradition, and none of them are the same - you cannot commission a remake of this piece.
Papercraft commission for busyoldfool of Kantarou and Haruka from Tactics! I'm happy with how it came out, but I'm reeeeeally especially proud of Haruka's wings. Animals (or animal features) are pretty hard for me to make, for some reason, so I knew that these were going to be a challenge. But they came out nicely! I'm so pleased!
Last week I was able to visit a greenhouse with my aqueous media class. Here is something I drew based off of vegetation from that experience I used Winsor & Newton Watercolor and Gouache as well as colored pencil.
EDIT: i've added the PSD of this drawing. If you are interested in seeing the layers separate for better understanding, you can download it on the right for $1. There's also the eyes and skins' layers!
So I took a small break after doing nothing but commissions for a long time, and I made this. I'm also recording a new speedpaint.
I designed this Unseelie Faerie gown for a client wanting a high fashion faerie-themed gown. Dark glittering vines wrap around body and turn into branches growing out from her shoulders, forming her thicket high collar. Velvet and sheer millinery flowers and leaves sprout throughout the gown. Her skirt is three layers of nude chiffon with an overlay of sequin mesh, and organic pin-tucked organza. The edges are burnt to give a moth eaten-look. The art nouveau necklace is the final touch - I wanted it to look as though a faerie used her sorcery to conjure a gem mimicking earthly fashion.
G'Day! A freehand-sculpture of blended polymer clay, wire, Genesis oils and applied coat of alpaca & French wool fibers. This Aussie sports a blue merle with tan & white coat pattern with pale blue eyes. My first attempt at making blue dog eyes using a new process. I am liking how these new eyes are turning out, so may chose not to 'share' my techniques this time around. Trial and error is the best teacher anyway *wink*

For the people who have died in Paris. And also for the ones who have lost someone in the cruel incidents. A really big hug to our neighbours in France. Words can't just say what i'm feeling right now. I love you and stay strong " title="Heart" />
