my SFM reaction to

(metaphorical title is metaphorical)


It's always upset me that people will casually (hatefully) throw out the entirety of the FNAF fandom based on (a lot) of bad apples. Sure I'm not perfect either, my art hasn't always been perfectly canon and true to what Scott creates. But I've tried to have full respect for Scott's creations, exploring them to their fuller potential, rather than changing what they are.

If you focus on the bad things about the fandom (Mangle's gender dispute being the #1 thing I see quoted as a bad thing, also porn), then yeah it's easy for you to generalize and throw out the good with the bad.

But for me, I somehow manage to stay within the bounds of good FNAF stuff. I don't see (or pay attention to) stuff I don't like. Maybe it's just from my experience being older, IDK.

Even I felt a pang of guilt seeing that teaser. For a second, I was ready to just hang up my hat and quit entirely. If that teaser is the result of everything we've all ever done in this fandom, then it's clearly not worth it.

But that picture was not based on the fandom, or Scott's mood. It is canon to the game, somehow. I'm intrigued. Only time will tell what really goes on. I'm not sure if Scott's original intention was for that picture to be up for only 10 minutes or not.

But for those of us who don't contribute to the negative parts of the fandom... there is nothing to regret.

So, I took the teaser and redid it to represent those of us who make good contributions to the fandom. The result of our actions is not character suicide, but love and salvation. "See what you've all done" is not negative, but positive!

Mangle especially is beloved in the fandom, as it embodies many relatable feelings, such as brokenness, ugliness, uselessness, etc. Out of all of the characters..... none other would have so many people rushing to it's theoretical aide to save it from a need to end it's existence.

And similarly, we are here for each other. None of you have to be alone.... not anymore. FNAF encompasses some universal things that binds us all together. Haters gonna hate, jellies gonna jelly. There are so many people in this community now that it's impossible for people to be alone if they need someone. So many nice, loving, caring, compassionate, empathetic people who will drop anything to help you.

Remember, you are beautiful just as you are


I wanted to upload this last night.... but I simply ran out of time. The sun came up and I had to go to work. So here I am, uploading it now. It's just a simple picture really. I use myself to represent all of us, leading Mangle away from the noose and into the light. I rarely include my persona with a canon character.... and if you read anything inappropriate into this picture, then you're putting us both in that noose.

A lot of my watchers probably won't remember this show, but this past year I have marathoned a lot of it with someone special . This painting is an interpretation of Xena and Gabrielle from the series Xena; Warrior Princess. They are talking reboot (or creating a new Xena series). And I'd love to see the original actresses in it again ( Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor). I don't care if they are older now. I believe the world is ready for older female action heroes, and if they aren't, things have to change.
Especially two such beloved characters.

Also, it is my belief Xena could/would be resurrected lmao. Hence the name.

Took me quite some time due to being away, HUGE computer issues ( omg computers these days)... there is some stock used in background elements ( but most is hand painted). The stock is my own.

A bit of a change for me for some of my followers but I enjoyed this. Im back to painting bishies now LOL ( no worries D: ).

Golden Mandala Pen Drawing

After many hours of work its completed Im very happy how it turned out. I took the pic early in the morning so you can see that one side of the page is a lot brighter than the other ( the side that is closer to the window ) . Love how the golden glow that goes from very shiny to dark because of the light. The drawing was done using 0,3- 0,5 black pens and a golden marker.

Its fun to push and explore the craft and i feel im a step closer now Going to start working on another mandala soon that will be twice this size

Another old character of mine that I revived xD
I had actually given him away to Windspirit-Aquaeris, but when I realized how good he would fit in Gondwana together with Krytery, Tyron and Alcyon, I decided to ask her ruefully if I could have him back.
I don't think that this is 100% going to be his final design, but it's a big step in the right direction.

Haha, late Halloween post. I felt like taking another stab (ha!) at needle felting, since I haven't made anything since Puck (ack, it's been almost a year!). I had the idea of making a skeletal dragon, and of course, me being me, I started with that basic concept and then just started putting things together, hoping it would work out in the end. And I think it did! I actually managed to finish her in time for Halloween, just didn't get around to posting her on DA until now.

This time around, I knew to use a wire armature, so this little dragon is actually gently posable! Haha, this is so exciting to me. xP Using an armature also helped me to get the proportions looking halfway decent, though I still need to figure out how to felt actual toes. I'm a little annoyed that she has nubbins for feet. xD But otherwise very happy with the result! _{And actually, this isn't even her final form. More on that later...}

Approximately 7 inches long and 4 inches tall. Created via needle felting from wool roving, wire pipe-cleaner armature. Took about 7 hours.

Another Halloween, another excuse to draw Nico, Mordecai and Serafine in regalia of some sort. The costumes are gobbledygook, historically speaking, but were fun to draw and are intended to be reminiscent (if only vaguely) of the Barons La Croix, Kriminel and Cimitiиre - aspects of the better known Baron Samedi.
