A commission that was loosely based on a traditional painting I did years ago, but it shaped up quite different to it.
This was super inspiring to work on and I ended up doing all the detailing pretty much in one sitting haha, couldn't stop!

Nestled between two great mountains, a great city prepares for another 16 hours of darkness. In this city, I imagine many clans whom ally and live together to form a House. For each clan in the House, a spire is erected that represents that clans status in the House. Lower Houses must pay their higher House for protection and shared resources. The highest ranking member of each High House becomes one of the cities Governors. Each House is specialized in various trades and the knowledge of those trades are shared throughout the House via apprenticeships.

Did this drawing just after the movie came out - by far the best Marvel movie yet ( my opinion ) - just love everything about it.

Since we are at a topic of nerdy stuff. I will be attending this years Yumecon as a judge for the art competition they will have there. This years theme is Super Heroes / Villains. Every year Yumecon is getting bigger and bigger and who knows maybe in a few years it will gather enough people to be a epic event on a grand scale - for nerds of all kinds to have fun and relax
