This view is from the top of the levee, on which there is a concrete walkway with a number of benches so people can watch the river barges and boats go by on the river. The Natchez - Vidalia Bridge crosses the river here.

FAROL SANTANDER is located in the historic center of the city of Porto Alegre in a historic building that was once a large bank. After restoration, it has become a landmark in the city as one of the most important cultural centers. It is one of the places that hosts the MERCOSUR BIENNIAL whenever the event takes place in the city. It is well worth a visit to see it.

Etzhorn ist ein Stadtteil im Norden der kreisfreien Stadt Oldenburg in Niedersachsen. Es war urspr"unglich ein Bauerndorf, dessen Geschichte vermutlich bis ins 9. Jahrhundert zur"uckreicht. Der Name Etzhorn leitet sich von "Eddas Horn" ab und beschreibt eine geestgepr"agte Landschaft, die hornf"ormig ins Moor ragt. Die erste urkundliche Erw"ahnung erfolgte im Jahr 1305. Historische Entwicklung: Eschsiedlung: Wie viele D"orfer im Oldenburger Land entstand Etzhorn als eine sogenannte Eschsiedlung. Brantweinbrennereien und Hefefabriken: Im Laufe der Zeit entwickelten sich einige H"ofe zu gr"osseren Branntweinbrennereien und Hefefabriken. Bekannte Namen sind die Kornbrennerei J. Hullmann (gegr"undet 1807) und die Brennerei und Hefefabrik Hilbers (gegr"undet um 1849). Eisenbahnanschluss: Im Jahr 1896 erhielt Etzhorn mit dem Bau der "Gummibahn" Oldenburg–Brake einen Eisenbahnanschluss. Der alte Bahndamm dient heute als Spazierweg. Eingemeindung nach Oldenburg: Bis ins 20. Jahrhundert geh"orte Etzhorn zur Landgemeinde Oldenburg und wurde 1897 Teil der Gemeinde Ohmstede. Durch eine Verwaltungsreform im Jahr 1933 wurde Etzhorn schliesslich in die kreisfreie Stadt Oldenburg eingegliedert. Heutiges Etzhorn: Etzhorn hat seinen d"orflichen Charakter teilweise bewahrt und bietet eine Mischung aus Wohnbebauung und Gewerbe. Es gibt einen aktiven B"urgerverein, der sich f"ur die Belange des Stadtteils einsetzt und verschiedene Veranstaltungen organisiert. Einige historische Geb"aude und Einrichtungen erinnern an die Vergangenheit, wie der Etzhorner Krug (erstmals 1598 erw"ahnt) und das Landhaus Etzhorn (als Bauernhof erstmals 1329 erw"ahnt). Die Grundschule Etzhorn ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Stadtteils. Auch Vereine wie der Sch"utzenverein Etzhorn e.V. von 1898 pr"agen das Gemeinschaftsleben. In den R"aumlichkeiten einer alten Brennerei haben sich Ateliers f"ur K"unstler und Kunsthandwerker angesiedelt. Etzhorn ist somit ein Stadtteil mit einer langen Geschichte, der sich seinen eigenen Charme bewahrt hat und gleichzeitig gut in die Stadt Oldenburg integriert ist.

One of the most important museums in the country and the main museum in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Historical works are exhibited and appreciated by the public. The building, located in the city's central square, attracts visitors from all over the world. It has an excellent bistro/caf'e and art shop.
