Neighboring the mouth of the river Leca, about a league north of the historic center of Porto, it is an original example of fortified religious architecture. Religious, Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Fortified, oriented hospitable church, with a longitudinal plan of three naves of four sections, with inscribed transept, tripartite, staggered head, and quadrangular bell tower adjoining the main facade.

Aerial view (about 400' high) overlooking the summit area of Little Glass Mountain in the Medicine Lake Volcano, California. Having erupted about 1,000 years ago, the flow is quite recent & formidable to walk through. It is just like Glass Mountain to the east, but this flow is much smaller, being about a square mile in size. In isolated pockets there are trees that are making a foothold within the dacite (the obsidian outcroppings tend to be found along the edges of the flow). Views of neighboring Little Mountain Hoffman, Pumice Stone Mountain, & distant Mount Shasta & Lassen Peak.

"The Concord Reformatory Cemetery is adjacent to the Massachusetts Correctional Institute. The prison was built in 1878 and the first burial began in that year. The cemetery also is the resting place of many prisoners who died or were executed in the Charlestown jail as well as those who died in the Rutland Prison Camp and Hospital. The plots are marked with numbers rather than names." From wikipedia : " The Entrance is a district centre and town in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. At the 2011 census, The Entrance had a population of 3,873 people. The town occupies an area of land that is bounded by water on three sides. The Entrance gains its name from the channel that runs along much of its northern border that is the entrance to Tuggerah Lakes. The Entrance has been a popular holiday destination since the first guest house was established there in 1885. As a beloved "holiday playground of two cities", the town continues to grow with new tourist accommodation, including the Pullman Hotel at North Entrance, the redevelopment of residential areas, and the enhancement of recreational facilities. The district's main tourist attractions are its beaches, lake and town centre. It is also suitably located for day trips to the Hunter Valley vineyards.
