Aerial view (about 50') at Lake Mountain near Scott Bar, California.  The peak is comprised of red peridotite as is nearby Tom Martin Peak (except for the top of that summit).  From here one gets fantastic views of the Scott Bar Mountains, Marble Mountains, Boulder Peak, Marble Rim, Black Marble Mountain, Kings Castle, distant Preston Peak, the Red Buttes, massive Condrey Mountain (& Dry Lake Mountain), Cottonwood Peak, & Mt. Shasta in the clouds.  The lookout tower site has been established since 1912.

Aerial view (about 100') at the Collins Creek Baldy fire lookout atop Bald Mountain (elev. 5,492') near Scott Bar, California.  The fire lookout was completed in 1934 by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corp.).  From here one gets fantastic views of the Scott Bar Mountains, Marble Mountains, Boulder Peak, Marble Rim, Black Marble Mountain, Kings Castle, distant Preston Peak, the Red Buttes, massive Condrey Mountain (& Dry Lake Mountain), Cottonwood Peak, & Mt. Aerial 360o panorama over the north area of Alarcia, in the "Sierra de la Demanda", Burgos, Spain. Among the oak woods there are large meadows, once croplands, where you can enjoy peaceful walks, and in some seasons collect mushrooms. The landscape in this area is very different than that found in the north area, and visitors can enjoy the "Los riberones" valley.
