The Lusthaus lies in the Vienna Prater at the end of the 4,5 km long Prater Hauptallee which leads for Praterstern to the Lusthaus. The Vienna Prater was until 1766 imperial huntig grounds and the Lusthaus was a hunting lodge. It was partially distroyed in World War II and rebuilt in 1948. Now it is a restaurant and coffee house and is used for Events.
