King's square (plaza del Rey in Spanish) is a medieval square in the center of the old quarter of Barcelona surrounded by Gothic and Renaissance buildings. It's small and very popular corner for tourists and visitors.

It wasn’t a technically difficult hike. It was long though. And the heavy pack and the fairly high altitute at above 3000masl certainly made it a challenge to scramble up the loose scree. The hike is fairly popular, especially on a weekend during summer. The more remote route we had taken up left us almost on our own. We met quite a few people on the last stretch to the summit but while most people were heading down we went up to spend the night there and watch this beautiful sunset with amazing views of the Cascade mountain range.

A look into the upper Canyon Creek valley in the Trinity Alps Wilderness near Weaverville, California.  This area is part of the White Trinities & is adorned with plenty of glacier-scoured granite.  This is directly below the summits of Wedding Cake, Thompson Peak, & Caesar Peak.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.Lake Neves (Neves-Stausee or Neveser See in German) is located at the top of the Molini valley, a side valley of the Ahrntal valley in South Tyrol.To reach the lake, from the village of Selva dei Molini, you reach the village of Lappago (Lappach), at 1,430 meters above sea level, from which the best solution is to hike, in about an hour, to reach the lake. The alternative is to continue by car, along a 5-kilometer steep and narrow road, and not always open (especially in winter).
