The Plaza de Isabel II, better known as the opera house, is a pleasant and picturesque square in the center of Madrid. The Royal Theater which is Madrid's premier Opera house is located there. At its centre sits the statue of Isabel II, old queen of Spain, and there are many restaurants, cafes and fast-food chains around.
