The capital of Austria, Vienna, has displaced the leader of the last seven years, Melbourne.
Vienna became the first European city to top the list. Experts created the rating assessing the city's comfort basing on such criteria as the level of health, stability, and security, the development of urban infrastructure, education and the cultural environment. After giving points on every criterion, the average value is calculated taking into account the weight of each indicator.

Vienna showed an almost perfect result, 99.1 points. All indicators were rated with the highest score, with the exception of culture and the environment.
According to analysts, the fact that the rating was headed by the European capital, can speak about the relative restoration of stability throughout Europe.

Melbourne, taking the second place, is only 0,7% behind Vienna. The Austrian capital became the leader thanks to its high stability.

Erdogan's tightened grip on power caused a significant fall in the lira’s exchange rate. Trump’s decision to authorize a doubling of duties on aluminum and steel imported from Turkey, making them 20 percent and 50 percent respectively, was enough to collapse the currency.
