He was born in Shereflikochhisar and passed his childhood in Sivrihisar. He completed his Madrasah (University) education in Istanbul. He worked as a Muderris (professor) and Qadi (judge) in Edirne (Adrianapolis), Egypt, Damascus and Bursa (Brussa). He was the disciple and Caliph of The Esteemed Uftade (K.S.) in Bursa. In Istanbul he was the Sheikh of people and the Murshid (leader) of Sultans. He passed away in Uskudar and was burried in the tomb in his Kulliye (complex of buildings adjacent to the mosque made by him).
His literature, preaches, sufistic poems, exhortations ans advices guided both Sultans and common people. He lived during the reigns of 8 Sultans of whom he was respected notable by Sultan Murat 3rd and Sultam Ahmet 1st. wrote about thirty literary works of which seven were in Turkish. He bequeathed rich foundations and big spiritual legacies after his death (or birth to Eternal World).
