BeckIts probably one of the best I have watched. 
Yukio, known by his friends as "Koyuki", is a regular 14-year-old Japanese boy who enters junior high school with two childhood acquaintances. One is now a useless pervert, and ironically the other is a highly sought after female student. Koyuki's boring life is changed when he saves an odd-looking dog, named Beck, from some kids. Beck's owner turns out to be an emerging rock musician, Ryûsuke Minami, who soon influences Koyuki to start playing the guitar, and even gives one to him.
The story focuses on the trials and tribulations of their punk and rapcore band named BECK, and an important plot that deals with Koyuki's relationship with Ryûsuke's sister, Maho.
Koyuki, who was plagued by his boring existence, gradually matured through experiences with the band and began to discover who he really was.

Hellsing follows Alucard and police girl-turned-vampire Seras Victoria as they exterminate the vampires and other creatures of the night for England’s Hellsing Organization. Hellsing is unique in that it takes much of itself from late 19th century and early 20th century Western fiction. It includes themes primarily from H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu works and Bram Stoker’s Dracula, rolled together with some fast-paced action sequences. The main characters are part of the Hellsing organization, which may have been inspired by the Lovecraftian Miskatonic University’s Wilmarth Foundation, an organization formed for fighting demons and the undead. Description:
Fifteen year old Robin Sena has returned to Japan from the Italian monastery where she was raised. Robin is a craft user who has the power of pyrokinesis, which is the ability to start fires with her mind. She is being sent to work at the Japan branch of Solomon, or as it is more commonly known, the STN-J. The STN-J is a secret organization that hunts witches who they feel have become a danger to society. Unlike other branches of Solomon, the Japanese branch captures witches and sends them to "The Factory" instead of killing them. With her partner Amon, Robin and the other members of the STN-J hunt witches whose powers have become dangerous. Soon after Robin joins the team in hunting witches the mystery behind Solomon, The Factory and the Orbo used in hunting witches starts to unfold. As Robin learns about the craft and it's true powers she soon becomes one of the hunted instead of the hunter. Released in 2002, Witch Hunter Robin is the creation of Hajime Yatate and Shuko Murase. Dark, moody and a bit gothic the series uses the first several episodes for character building. As the series progresses the story picks up in pace and ties the different story arcs together. Witch Hunter Robin is an action series with a dramatic who-do-you-trust mystery undertone.
