You can find these old watch faces, at tag sales and flea markets!! Just simply replace the old band, with a ribbon or piece of fabric; add a button and closure. Wa laa! You have a Bohemian style watch! Add some bracelets, and your ready to go!!

This lady zigzagged fancy yarns, in spirals onto thick felt and then sewed her handmade buttons on to them. Beautiful!

Fabrics used are scraps of silk on the top one, and faux leather animal prints on the lower one. Seams are covered by sewing on bits of ribbon, trim and fibers. I used a real feather for the wing on the lower one. can't decide whether this style of embroidery would be fun or not....would like to give it a try....all those little beads!
