Ever since I traveled to Santorini, I consider the island to be among the most lovely places in the world. Every new corner appears more picturesque than the last and pictures will never be able to capture its mesmerizing environment. Get down there early though (a minimum of half an hour) for a good area. The crowds can be a little bit of a problem and the last thing you desire is to be going to find an area, evading images whilst simultaneously attempting to take your own before the sun vanishes (existed, done that).

If the crowds show excessive, and you would prefer somewhere a little quieter, another sundown spot is Imerovigli. Once again, it provides a beautiful, continuous view of the sunset.

However in all sincerity, you can't truly have a bad sundown in Santorini. It's type of wonderful anywhere you are.

There are a few ways to get around the island: renting an automobile, ATV, taxi or bus. Nevertheless, taxis can get costly and buses offer you less time flexibility. Roadways are mainly cobble-stoned, narrow and Grecian motorists are insane (however very skilled), Santorini daily tours which leaves us with leasing an ATV. Leasing an ATV, also known as a quad bike, is the very best and most popular way to get around the island, especially thanks to the steep hills and heat which make it a rigorous task strolling from point A to B.
