Ever since I took a trip to Santorini, I consider the island to be among the most lovely locations in the world. Every brand-new corner seems more picturesque than the last and pictures will never be able to catch its enchanting atmosphere. 1. Because of the sundown in Oia

By far, among my favourite minutes in Greece was being able to witness the Santorini sundown. It's the only sunset in the world I have actually seen that gets a round of applause once it subsides. Come down there early though (a minimum of half an hour) for a good spot. The crowds can be a little a problem and the last thing you desire is to be running to find a spot, evading photos whilst at the same time trying to take your Santorini tour own before the sun disappears (been there, done that).

If the crowds prove Santorini tours excessive, and you would prefer someplace a little quieter, another sunset spot is Imerovigli. Once again, it offers a lovely, uninterrupted view of the sundown.

But in all sincerity, you can't really have a bad sunset in Santorini. It's kind of magical anywhere you are.

There are a couple of ways to navigate the island: renting an automobile, ATV, taxi or bus. Nevertheless, taxis can get expensive and buses offer you less time versatility. Roadways are mainly cobble-stoned, narrow and Grecian motorists are crazy (but exceptionally gifted), which leaves us with leasing an ATV. Renting an ATV, also referred to as a quad bike, is the best and most popular method to get around the island, particularly thanks to the high hills and heat which make it an extensive job walking from point A to B. Plus it's SO much enjoyable, guarantee.

Depending on the season, size and type of your ATV it might cost anywhere from 25 to 40 euros for 24 hours. Plus around 8-10 euros per day for fuel, based on a 200cc ATV.

Santorini is not known for its beaches, so don't anticipate the typical white sand & crystal clear water view that you typically connect with Greece.
