How to Choose a Reputable Online Betting Site

Вторник, 11 Апреля 2023 г. 14:25 + в цитатник

How to choose a reputable betting website is currently the most concerning question for many people in the betting industry. With the increasing popularity of online betting and online casinos, there are many big and small online betting sites. Choosing a reputable site to play on is becoming increasingly difficult for those in the industry.

There are countless scams on the internet about being cheated out of money by betting websites, being able to deposit but not being able to withdraw. And there are other forms of fraud as well. Today, let's dig deep with win tips to find out how to choose a reputable betting site to avoid losing money, being deceived, and feel confident in playing.

Why Choosing a Reputable Betting Website is Important?

As we know, there is a saying that "money goes hand in hand with one's intestines". This saying shows that no matter what era we are in, money is still very important. As betting enthusiasts, everyone understands that entertainment is secondary while profit is primary.

In addition to choosing a reputable website related to our profit, it is also related to the security of our personal information. Because when participating as a member of a betting website, we are required to provide them with personal information as well as bank account information.

For professionals, they can easily determine which betting sites are reputable based on their experiences or lessons learned from past scams. However, if you are a new player, how can you filter and choose a reputable betting website? Let's explore the criteria for choosing a reputable betting website with thienhabet.me to feel confident in your battles.

Criteria for choosing a reputable bookmaker:

Reputation and popularity

Before becoming a member of any bookmaker, we should google information about that bookmaker. Firstly, check whether that bookmaker is frequently mentioned in the forums of betting communities, and also pay attention to whether the comments are positive or negative. We should also consult those who have prior experience and see which bookmaker they have been a member of. If they have played for a long time, deposited and withdrawn money regularly, and have had no trouble with the bookmaker, then we can follow their lead. This way of choosing a bookmaker is safe for us. Also, make sure that the person we follow is reliable and a true player. Popular bookmakers nowadays include Thiên Hạ Bet, Kbbet, and Thbbet.

User interface

If a bookmaker is reputable, they will invest a lot in their user interface. The purpose is to make it easy for players to navigate and not confusing. Investing in the user interface is not easy and costs a lot of time and money. A beautiful and user-friendly interface requires the expertise of UI UX designers, and hiring them is not easy. Before deciding to register as a member of a bookmaker, we should take the time to observe their user interface. The interface must meet the criteria of being beautiful, professional, and scientific. Images on the interface must be clear. It is a plus point if the interface has at least one other language, as it shows that the bookmaker has a multinational scale.

Number of games and betting options provided by reputable bookmakers

To attract many members, bookmakers often have a wide range of different betting games and casinos. To measure the credibility of a bookmaker, we must see the number of games and types of betting options they provide. If the number of games is large and the number of members is high, it shows that the bookmaker is highly professional and can manage a large number of members and organize many games. Managing a large number of games requires an equivalent number of employees and managers. If a bookmaker has a poor reputation, they will not be able to handle such a large number of games.

Customer care

If a business wants to operate for the long term, it must prioritize customer satisfaction. Bookmakers are no exception, as they are also a form of business. If the bookmaker you are choosing has a good customer service team that is quick to respond and can solve all your issues, then that is a good sign.

The Registration Process of Reputable Online Gambling Sites

All online gambling sites have their own registration process. The clearer and more straightforward the registration process is, the more trustworthy the gambling site is. In addition, if the process of depositing and withdrawing money is simple, convenient, and easy for players, it indicates that the gambling site does not intend to deceive you.

Reputable online gambling sites usually require you to provide personal information when registering, including personal identification documents. Don't be hesitant to provide this information because their goal is to ensure that you are a real player and to reward you accurately without any confusion.

Legality

Gambling and betting are not yet legally recognized in Vietnam, so online gambling sites mainly register and operate in countries where gambling is legal, such as the Philippines, Cambodia, etc. They will register legally in these countries, pay full taxes, and be subject to legal action if they engage in fraud or deception.

Never trust an online gambling site that claims not to have a business license because gambling has not been legalized in Vietnam. This is just a way to conceal the fact that they are not operating legally and are careless in their business practices.

Some reputable and licensed online gambling sites include Win Tips, KBBET, THBBET, etc. These are online gambling sites that have been operating for quite a long time, over 10 years, and have been fully licensed.

Payout Ratio

Nowadays, to attract members, many online gambling sites offer higher payout ratios than the average level. This is often applied to new gambling sites, with few members, and they need to increase the payout ratio to attract new members to register.

However, if their payout ratio is too high compared to the average level, we need to ask how they make a profit. Every business needs profits to survive. Therefore, when the payout ratio is unreasonably high, you need to ask why, as it may be a trap.

There are many cases where players are attracted by high payout ratios, register as members, but never get their money back. They win a lot, but they cannot withdraw their winnings.

Conclusion

The above are some ways to choose a reputable online gambling site suggested by Thienhabet.me. Always be a wise player and choose a reputable online gambling site to stick with. Playing with a reputable online gambling site also makes us feel more comfortable...

What is football betting? Guide to winning football betting for professional bettors.

Вторник, 11 Апреля 2023 г. 11:21 + в цитатник

Football betting is a form of entertainment that is extremely popular in many countries around the world because it not only provides great moments of entertainment but also helps players make a profit. However, to play football betting, you need to understand the nature of this game as well as how to participate. Let's learn more about it in this article.
I. What is football betting?
Football betting is considered a form of betting in which players use their capital to bet on a particular match. If the player guesses correctly, they will receive a reward, and conversely, if they guess incorrectly, they will lose money.

Playing football betting is not easy, especially for new players because each bet will have different surprises, and there is no basis for comparison. However, it still attracts a large number of players to participate because of its attractiveness and high betting winnings.

Currently, online betting is not only popular in foreign countries but also in Vietnam. The forms of playing are also more diverse, so players need to have skills and truly understand this field to have a chance of winning.

Learning about football betting will help you improve your chances of winning. When participating in a match, to win, you need to research carefully about the team you want to bet on, including information about the strength of each team, the starting lineup, the pitch they play on, and factors such as weather conditions that may favor one team over the other.
II. Guide to winning football betting without losing
1. Know how to read the odds
This is an extremely important factor, and players must remember it. First, you need to carefully research and distinguish between different types of odds, know how to read each type of odds to avoid unnecessary mistakes and calculate the winning rate accurately.
For example, if the bookmaker offers odds of 3, and you guess the total number of goals is 2, misunderstanding and choosing Over, it can be a mistake that causes the game to fail.

Check out more betting tips at: https://wintips.com/

2. Search and analyze information
The mission of a football betting player is to make a betting choice for one of the two teams. Therefore, you need to ensure that you have a firm grasp of information and carefully research both teams through the following information:
Starting line-up for each team
Injuries that both teams are currently facing
Coach's playing tactics
Recent performance of the teams
Head-to-head history between the two teams
Any players who have received a card
Goalkeeper information
3. Do not place too many bets at once
Many people mistakenly believe that placing money on multiple bets at the same time increases their chances of winning. However, this is a mistake because it only distracts your thinking and significantly reduces your capital while multiplying the risk.
If all bets do not go as planned, you will suffer significant losses. Analyzing different information and data to choose a bet is not an easy task.

4. Pay attention to stronger teams
In reality, stronger football teams always have an advantage over weaker teams. However, this does not mean that you should always bet on the stronger team. You should not bet based on your emotions or your favorite team. You need to research both teams' abilities thoroughly before placing a bet.
If you are not 100% sure about a comeback, you should still bet on the stronger team. Placing a bet also means investing financially, and the sole purpose is to make a good profit.
5. Do not bet based on the majority
The truth is that betting based on the majority may make you feel more confident and at ease, but it all stops at the "feeling". Not every time the majority is right or wins, and it's best to stick to your own principles so that you won't regret losing the bet.
Moreover, you should understand that the bookmakers will never accept losses, so when there are too many people betting on certain odds, they will have to adjust to balance the amount of money that customers win from the bet.
6. Reasonable division of betting capital
Betting capital is a tangible number that everyone needs to manage and use properly if they don't want to end up empty-handed. It's easy to say but not easy to do. Most people who bet on sports do it on impulse, and few calculate carefully.
It's best to allocate only 10 to 20% of your total income for the game, so that even if you lose the bet, it won't affect yourself, your family, or others.
7. Set specific goals
Before betting on football, you need to set specific goals for yourself. Whether you're winning or losing, you should end the game on that day, and not be tempted to bet bigger when you win or try to recover when you lose, as it will only make you lose more.
Everyone knows that sports betting has a huge attraction that can draw us in, so if you don't do this, it will be difficult to effectively control yourself.
8. Avoid bait odds
Bookmakers often set bait odds like a delicious "trap" waiting for bettors to participate. Therefore, you need to be truly alert because even the smartest players can sometimes find it difficult to resist these super high odds.

Win easily with football betting with soccer tips win tips

9. Avoid excessively high handicaps
One way to always win in sports betting is to choose the underdog in large handicap odds. Many novice players fall into the trap of high odds while bookmakers also set high handicap ratios or numbers of goals in Over/Under bets.
You need to remember one thing, even if the favorite team has a big advantage, if the handicap is high, betting on the underdog is safer. If the goal difference is not large enough, of course, you will win money when choosing the underdog, right?
III. Conclusion
If you master the above ways to not lose in sports betting, you will definitely become a professional bettor in the future. And the most important thing is that the losing ratio will noticeably decrease, so don't be complacent and overlook any experience or betting guide.

How to choose the right reputable bookmaker?

Понедельник, 10 Апреля 2023 г. 18:14 + в цитатник

Many articles sharing experience in online betting advise players to participate in betting at win tips bookmakers. However, these articles do not guide players on how to choose the right reputable and reliable bookmaker. That is why we want to share this article!

The bookmaker must have a business license

  1. To determine whether a bookmaker is reputable or not, you need to find out if the bookmaker has been granted a business license by authorized organizations such as PAGCOR, First Cagayan, FCRC, etc.

This is the most basic criterion that a bookmaker needs to have when it enters into operation. If any bookmaker does not have a business license or has one but is issued by unreliable organizations, then it is best not to participate in betting.

Clear contact information and origin

  1. After determining that the bookmaker has a business license issued by a reliable authorized organization, you need to continue researching whether the bookmaker has clear contact information and origin. Where does the bookmaker come from?

Large and professional bookmakers will not hesitate to share information about the company or business that established them, their headquarters location, and the year of establishment, etc.

Website interface design with investment

  1. Websites created only to deceive players often have a fairly rudimentary interface design, lacking refinement and professionalism. In contrast, websites of reputable bookmakers are carefully designed and invested in because it is their face.

Moreover, the website interface directly affects the player's experience. Only with a good experience can players choose to stick with a bookmaker.

Customer care

  1. Make sure that the online bookmaker you participate in betting has a customer service department. You should know that during the process of participating in betting, there may be many cases where you need to seek the support of the bookmaker's customer service department. Therefore, if the bookmaker does not have a customer service department, it will be quite inconvenient when participating in betting.

Furthermore, bookmakers without a customer service department or those that have it but only use it as a "decoration" are mostly fraudulent bookmakers because the cost of building and maintaining this department is not small. In contrast, fraudulent bookmakers are established solely for the purpose of taking players' money and will certainly not want to invest much.

Betting products

  1. You should also see if the bookmaker provides a diverse range of betting products. Bookmakers who provide a large number of betting products show that they have potential.

First, you have to find a suitable website or bookmaker for yourself. Then proceed with the following simple steps:

  2. Deposit money into the account (there are many ways to deposit money into your account nowadays, such as topping up with a phone card, internet banking, or electronic wallets like Momo, Zalo Pay, and Viettel Pay).

Guide to 10 ways to play football betting without losing

Many people ask me what the secret is to always winning at football betting? Where does the secret lie?

To be able to have the prize money in hand and get rich in football, players must have certain knowledge about this subject and the betting odds.

It's not easy to say it's easy, and it's not hard to say it's difficult. Bongda88 will help you learn more about the experiences shared by experts and together analyze some ways to play as well as small tricks for you to easily achieve victory.

  1. Check the odds carefully

This is extremely important in football betting. Participants must gather and analyze a lot of information from the teams to make the most accurate choices. So what is checking the odds?

First: Pay attention to the rankings of the two teams on the current standings. Most strong teams and teams with stable performance will have high rankings. Then, choose whether to bet on the over or under

second: Thoroughly research the current situation of the two football teams at that time. Check the schedule, playing style, and the players' status. A small trick is that there are always websites that analyze playing style, tactics, and winning odds for you to refer to.

Note: If the stronger team is the away team, the bet rate is handicap 1/2 to 1. This small handicap means that the two teams differ significantly in terms of strength. Therefore, choose a lower bet for safety.

  1. Budget management tactics for betting

A guaranteed way to ensure that you do not lose if you adhere to this policy correctly. For example, if you choose the right door and the winning rate is up to 70%, betting the right amount will help you increase your winning rate to 90%.

Therefore, how much to bet and which match to bet on will help you have an overview and ensure your budget. A small tip for playing is to place bets progressively, which means that the amount of your bet will increase slightly after each match if you win the previous match.

Suppose you win game 1, you can increase the bet amount by half in game 2. The chances of winning may be higher, and the amount lost will not be much. However, make sure you have thoroughly researched the betting odds as presented in method 1 before applying this method when playing.

Note:

  • Betting doubles in the second game and doubles in the previous game.

  • Betting according to the betting units of the 4 winning matches, then back to the starting level when losing. 1-3-2-6/1-3-2-4.

  • Only bet a maximum of 2 games/match and limit the number of matches per day. The best number is 3 games/day.

  • Leave some capital and don't bet all of it. Maximum of 50-70% of the capital/turn.

This is one of the effective football betting methods that many masters often apply.

  1. Never bet with the crowd

The most crucial experience for you when playing is not to follow the crowd. Hold on to your own perspective to bet in the most reasonable way.

Moreover, if you have been betting for a long time, you may implicitly understand this. That is, some bookmakers, keno owners with poor reputation (only a few, not all) may affect the outcome of the match.

Therefore, if you follow the crowd, you are likely to lose more because bookmakers never want to "share money" with anyone who has a higher betting rate because they will suffer heavy losses.

These are the experiences you should follow to increase your chances of winning in football betting.

Choosing the Bet

4. Besides analyzing the odds carefully, choosing the right bet is also crucial. Keep in mind that bookmakers have a team of experts working around the clock to analyze the odds, so their results may be the most accurate, up to 80%. Therefore, reading the bookmakers' intentions will be a reliable way to make a bet.

Here are some tips for you to consider:

If the stronger team plays as the away team with a handicap of 1/2 - 1, and the strength of the teams is not too different, choosing the underdog will have a higher probability of winning.

If both teams have equal strength, choose the away team and select the draw bet. The away team will try harder to earn 1 point from the away game.

Conclusion:

The analysis has been quite long, so I would like to end the topic of how to bet on football online here. All the tips are based on the experiences and theories of those who have gone before, but the key to success lies with you. Keep a clear head and a steady mindset when participating in betting.

SPR Explained – Stack-to-Pot Ratio

Пятница, 07 Апреля 2023 г. 05:28 + в цитатник
The best play for a certain hand depends on how much money you have in your stack. In both holdem and Omaha, the stack-to-pot ratio is an important tool for better decisions.
We'll look at a couple of examples and then define the concepts properly.
Omaha example of SPR considerations

Let's say you flop the nut straight in pot limit Omaha. It's a bare nut straight, that is, you have no draws to stronger hands like a flush or full house.
You have $500 left in your stack and there is $20 in the pot. Now one player bets the pot ($20), another raises pot by betting $80 and two players call. What do you do?
Most PLO players feel that the bare nut straight doesn't play well in a huge pot. It's the best hand right now but many cards would give you big troubles on later streets. If the board flushes or pairs you're looking at losing a huge pot. The straight may not even be a favorite to win the hand.
If, on the contrary, you had only $80 left in the stack, then it would be an easy call since you have the best hand and you can't lose any further bets if an opponent improves to a flush etc.
Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

Holdem example of SPR considerations
Or say that you flop bottom two pair in holdem. If there's $20 in the pot and one opponent bets pot, your decision would probably depend on the size of your stack.
With $60 in the stack you might raise all in hoping that you have the best hand. With so short stacks, the opponent would bet with many hands that you beat, and if you lose it's not that expensive.
With $600 in the stack, you'd probably want to just call and see what develops on the turn. You'd want to keep the pot smaller and not committ too much with a marginal hand.
There are plenty of situations where your decisions at the poker table depend on the size of your stack compared to the size of the pot - the stack to pot ratio, or SPR.
Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

Effective stack is what counts
As a matter of fact, it's not really your stack that counts, but the effective stack. That is, how much money you can lose in the hand.
if you're heads up, the effective stack is whatever stack is shorter. If you have $100 and your single opponent $50, the effective stack size is $50. That's how much you can lose in the pot.
If more than two players remain in the hand, there are several possibilities. As long as one remaining opponent has more chips than you, your own stack is the effective stack (for you).
If you have the biggest stack, the effective stack is the biggest one of your opponents' stacks. That's how much you can lose in the hand.
Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.
Definition of SPR
Now that we know what "effective stack" means, the stack-to-pot ratio is defined as follows:
SPR = Effective stack / Pot
If all players have $500 stacks and there's $20 in the pot, your SPR is 25. This is a very high SPR. You could be looking at a huge pot and you need to plan your game accordingly.
With $20 in the pot and an effective stack of $80, the SPR is 4. This is a short-stack scenario and calls for very different strategies. Paople will bet and call with more marginal hands. (Basically since the fold equity increases compared to the implied or effective odds.)
We won't go into any specific strategies here. A lot have been written about those in various poker books, for example "Advanced Pot-Limit Omaha" by Jeff Hwang or "No Limit Hold 'em: Theory and Practice" by Sklansky and Miller.

Pre Flop Strategy for Poker Beginners

Четверг, 06 Апреля 2023 г. 05:22 + в цитатник
Choosing the right mix of starting hands is a difficult task for beginning poker players in no limit Texas Holdem. Here's a safe strategy when you start out in holdem.
When you start out in no limit Texas Holdem, you'll pretty fast develop a feeling for situations on the river. When can you call, when should you fold, when is it time for a bluff?
Learn from other players' mistakes

Those situations are relatively simple, and you get to see right away if you made an error, since it's the last decision in the hand.
Conversely, what starting hands to throw away and which to invest in, is the first decision in each hand you play. Causes and consequences are separated by several betting rounds, which makes it hard to learn from your mistakes.
It's impossible to figure out beforehand if a starting hand will show long term profitability or not.
Until you have gathered a lot of experience, your best shot is to listen to the experience of others. Below is a summary of the pre-flop strategy tips that professional poker players suggest for beginners in the game.
Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

It depends on your position
The player on the button acts last on each turn of the hand. This is a huge advantage, since you can base your decision on more information than the other players.
Poker is a game of information, so having more information is a key to success in poker.
In early position all your equity has to come from your hand, while in later positions, the value of position compensates for a lesser hand. That's why you can play more hands from late position.
(Note that playing more hands means playing worse hands on average.)

Early position strategy
You're very vulnerable to the action behind you, on all streets. Everybody can wait and see what you do and act accordingly.
Only very few, strong hands can be played from early position.
The standard hand range here consists of the following hands: AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, AK, AQ. JJ and TT being considered marginal. By all means, throw them away if you feel uncomfortable for some reason.
Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

The basic tip is to enter the pot with a raise in order to show the opposition that you're in the pot with a real hand.
Middle Position strategy
In middle position, you have a little more information. The players in front of you have made some decisions, you have picked up one or two hints about their cards. There's also fewer players left to act behind you.
If a player in early position has raised, you know from the above that he or she has a real hand most of the time. Now even a hand like AQ may seem a bit on the weak side for you, since most of the hands that you yourself would play in early position has AQ beat. On the other hand, if the players in front of you have folded, AQ is an easy play from middle position.
When you're in middle position with a hand you'd play from early position, you can and should re-raise a player who put in a bet before you. You have a premium hand, and you will act after him or her all through the hand, which is a great advantage.
In middle position, you can admit the middle pairs into your hand mix. 99, 88, 77, maybe 66. Hands like AJ and maybe AT are playable.
Once in a while you may want to mix it up with suited connectors and small pairs: 87, 76, 65, 55, 44. But if you play those all the time, they'll probably show up as a loss in your stats.
Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.

Late Position strategy
In late position, you have all the information you can ever hope for. It's still limited, that's the nature of poker, but you know more than any other player in the hand.
If there's a lot of action in front of you, you have an easy fold with many hands. But with premium hands your situation is very nice. You can raise or re-raise and when the flop comes, you can sit back and let the other players make their decisions with no clue about where you're at.
If no one has raised the pot before you, a lot of your hands now turn into raising hands. Hands like A9 and KQ are now likely to be the best hand, plus you have the value of position on later streets working for you.
Again, if someone has raised in front of you, A9 is not a strong hand, and position alone can't make up for its weakness. If you hit the ace, you're often up against a better ace, and if you hit the nine, there are usually a lot of overcards that will beat you, as well as higher pocket pairs.
If several players limp in front of you, they create odds for you to play drawing hands. Now all suited aces become permissible, because if you flop a flush draw you'll often have the necessary pot odds to draw to the flush.
Suited kings can also be playable, but only if you remember that you won't have the nut flush most of the time. Tread carefully.
Playing In the blinds
From the blinds you play in the worst possible position. True, before the flop you act last, but most hands are not decided before the flop.
After the flop, you'll have to act before even the players in early position.
Small blind is the worst position of all. You'll always have at least one player behind you. In the big blind you can actually be in last position after the flop - if everybody folds except for the small blind.
When you're in the blinds, entering a pot costs a little less than otherwise, since you put in a bet before the hand even started. This improves your pot odds somewhat. This is especially true for the big blind, who has put in twice the small blind.
If you're in the small blind and five players limped in, you get 13-1 on your call, which is enough for more or less every imaginable hand.
Another aspect is blind defense. To stop the other players from going after your blinds at all times, you need to defend it on a regular basis. You need to waste a few bucks now and then to improve the long run stats. Just don't overdo it.
When you're in the blinds, if the hand can be decided before the flop, it's never a bad thing. Then you don't have to play out of position. So, if you have a hand you want to play, nothing wrong in making the raise a little extra steep.
How to figure out your position
Your position in the hand is calculated "backwards". What counts is how far to the right from the button you sit. (Not how far to the left of the big blind.)
Distance from button
Position
0-1
Late
2-4
Middle
5-7
Early

Note: An interesting result of this is obvious in short handed play: With only six players, there's no early position! Two players are on the blinds, the button and the player to his right are in late position, and the rest are in middle position.
This is why, in short handed games, you need to be playing more hands than in full ring games. You simply play the middle position pre flop strategy (see above).

Set Mining in Poker, Explained

Среда, 05 Апреля 2023 г. 05:15 + в цитатник
Set mining is when you see a flop with a pocket pair hoping to flop a set. We'll explain how it works - and when it doesn't.

In the old days, holdem players would throw away any hand that didn't contain two high cards. "What's the point of playing if your hand is worse than the opponent's?"
Then creative players realized that hand strengths change as new cards come on the table, and that this can be exploited. A hand that is behind pre flop can be in front when three cards have been displayed.
Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

Pay a little to win big
And at this stage the bets will be bigger. Seeing a flop is usually cheap, most of the time you get it at the cost of 1-3 big blinds. If you can improve your hand and win 10 or maybe 100 big blinds, well then it could be worth the investment.
This is called implied odds, and you should be familiar with the concept.
When you play a low pocket pair like 5-5 and don't improve on the flop, you'll have to fold it if an opponent turns up the heat.
On the other hand, when 5-5 turns into a set on the flop, it will often be in the lead (and hard for opponents to see.) You can play it hard and scoop a big pot.

Simple winning machine
This combination of either winning big pots or being an easy fold has made low pairs very popular. They're played with the intention of either hitting a set or folding.
It's called set mining, and it has popped up as one of the most profitable plays in today's holdem.
You definitely should put this device in your poker toolbox, but realize that it doesn't come without some limitations. The following factors decide how successful a set mining operation will be.
Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

Implied odds
Your pocket pair will hit the flop twice in 15 trials. That is, the odds against it are around 7-to-1, and you need the corresponding odds from the pot.
If the pot doesn't give you 7-to-1 odds straight up (which is unusual pre flop,) there are always the implied odds to hope for, which we mentioned above.
But to have any implied odds, your opponent must be willing to pay off your winning hand. The implied odds cannot be calculated exactly, it depends on a number of things, like the stack sizes involved and what kind of player your opponent is.
On the other hand, you'll sometimes be able to pick up the pot even without a set. Calling a pre flop raise is a strong move as such, and if you have position on the raiser he'll often just have two unimproved high cards and check the action to you on the flop.
Effective stack size
If your opponent doesn't have any chips left in her stack, how could she pay off your winning hand? Before you make a play that is based on implied odds, check if there are any chips left to win if you hit your hand.
This thumb rule takes account of the stack size:
"If you can win more than 20 times the current bet, call. If you cannot win more than 10 times, fold. If in between, continue the analysis."
You also need to realize that you cannot win more from your opponent than you have in your own stack. It's the smallest stack involved that sets the limit.
This is called "effective stack size". The odds you look at if you win the opponent's whole stack or double up your own is called "stack odds".
Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.

Type of opponent
Also you need to ask if this particular opponent will call a big bet with an unimproved overpair (or even more, with two high cards). You can't know that, but you need to develop a feeling for it.
If the answer is "no" or "probably not", you may not have the implied odds that are necessary to make your set mining profitable. This is one reason why an effective stack of 8 times the current bet isn't good enough, as we stated above.
Note: The better start hand the opponent has, the harder it is for him to fold it. An opponent's pre flop strength increases your implied odds.
If a player raises pre flop with T4 and you put him all in on a flop of T53, he may not pay you off. On the other hand, a player who raised with AA just might.
So when you're set mining, look for strong pre flop raises. This may go against your intuition, in which case you need to actively overrule it.
Today, since set mining has become so popular, good players are becoming less and less willing to go all the way with just an overpair or top pair. The more this happens, the less profitable set mining gets. You could say that the uprising trend is cutting off its own head.
The dynamics of poker never stop working. You need to know the present state of affairs, for example by following the discussions in the poker forums.
Risk of higher sets
Of course, once in a while your flopped set will not be the best hand. The lower your set is, the more often the flop will contain over cards to your set. For each such over card, there's a chance that an opponent has flopped a higher set.
This won't happen a lot, but when it happens it's very hard not to lose a big pot. This is another reason why you need extra odds to give the set mining play long term profitability.
Go digging.

Вторник, 04 Апреля 2023 г. 05:34 + в цитатник
Cyndy Violette could be considered the first real "poker babe."

The $295,970 she won in that event is still her largest live tournament score to date.
For her career, Violette has over $1.33 million in tournament earnings listed but that number is likely much higher as many events in the '80s and '90s were not properly tracked.

An Introduction to ‘Polarized Ranges’ in Texas Holdem Poker

Понедельник, 03 Апреля 2023 г. 06:38 + в цитатник
This is a term that has really developed since the advent of the poker boom and is very helpful in determining what type of hand that you are against.

Here's a quick beginner's discussion about what a polarized range is.
Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.

Polarized Range Defined

When a player has a 'polarized range,' that means that the range of his or her hands is at one end of the spectrum or another. This means either a very strong hand or a very weak hand.
A true rock will have a polarized range, but unfortunately his range will be polarized to the strong end of the spectrum. A player that truly mixes up her play and plays medium range hands does not have a polarized range. She has a non-polarized range.
A maniac type player may be one that you would expect to have an unpolarized range. While he could have aces or 7-2 offsuit, he also likes to play middle pairs, suited connectors, middling connectors, etc.
Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

How This Information is Important
When you're playing a polarized range, realize that your decisions will sometimes be tough.
If you're in a pre-flop situation with a hand such as A-J and you 3-bet, players that know your polarized range will knock you off of your hand with a shove.
At the same time, when you 3-bet with aces and your opponent decides to shove with A-K, you're going to be in great shape.
You can also use a polarized range to your advantage. Let’s say that your board filled out a straight draw at the turn and a flush draw at the river.
Sometimes you can represent a polarized range with a shove on the river. If he's been betting a straight and you've now shoved after a flush draw has potentially hit, then you either have the nuts or nothing at all.
If you are a player with a somewhat polarized range, you may be able to force a fold in this spot.
Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

Saved It for Skilled Players
Don’t get too cute with polarized ranges, especially against players that aren’t sophisticated enough to understand them or that are pure calling stations.
Bluffing to represent a polarized range will just wind up costing you money.
Polarized ranges are just another way for you to put a player on a hand to make a better decision. In the right spots, you can use this concept to pull off skillful bluffs.
Remember, beginning and lower level intermediate players are not going to be knowledgeable on this concept, so save this for games against more skillful Texas Holdem players.

5 Tips for Slowing Down a Big Bluffer in Texas Hold’em

Пятница, 31 Марта 2023 г. 12:27 + в цитатник

An equally important skill is the ability to combat against habitual bluffers at the table.

Here are some quick tips for combating a habitual bluffer.

1. Trap

One of the simplest ways to combat someone who regularly bluffs at the table is to tighten your game and trap them when you have a big hand.

With that said, you don't want to appear too rock tight or you will telegraph your play to the point where they wont bluff against you.

Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

2. Speculate More

Another strategy is to speculate with non-premium hands in hopes of flopping a well disguised hand.

For example, open up your range to include suited connectors, suited aces, face-card connectors and low pairs.

If you can get in relatively cheap, you can even expand this to hands like K-10, Q-9, and J-9 unsuited.

With these hands, you want to catch against the opponent in the hopes of them bluffing off their stack to you.

Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

3. Think Like a Calling Station

Newbie players sometimes have an advantage over a habitual bluffer because they don't have the knowledge and experience that bluffers feed off of.

They don't know that if there are three suited cards on board with an ace, their pocket 10's should probably go in the muck. Their tendency to be calling stations can sometimes neutralize a bluffer.

We aren't necessarily saying that you should adapt a total calling station mentality, but lean more towards calling in tricky spots when against a habitual bluffer.

4. Watch for Patterns

Some players will almost telegraph their plays via their betting patterns.

For example, watch how they bet and see if they have a tendency to change the size of their betting based on whether they're bluffing.

Sometimes they will change the speed or even the way they bet when they're bluffing as opposed to when they have the nuts.

Granted, this is not very accurate with pros, but sometimes you can catch an amateur by watching their patterns.

Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.

5. Sometimes You Just Can't Beat Them

Of course there are just times when you can't beat a bluffer.  They may actually have a huge hand when you play back against them, or they may even recognize your play and stay out of your way.

When this happens, just suck it up and come back another day. Bluffing is an art form; catching one can tend to be an inexact science.

With time and practice, you will find what works best for you. In the meantime, the above tips should get you started with holding your own against bluffers at the poker table.

5 Common Physical Tells in Poker & How to Decipher Them

Четверг, 30 Марта 2023 г. 06:26 + в цитатник

Most every amateur player gives off some form of physical tell while playing poker. The key is to know what to look for regarding tells and how to decipher them.

Below are five common physical tells you will see from poker players at the tables and how you can interpret what they mean

1. The Chip Glance

One potential sign of huge strength from an amateur player is the "chip glance." This takes one of two forms.

For example, the flop falls with an ace or a king and your opponent quickly glances at his chips. Chances are that the flop hit them hard and now they want to bet into the pot.

Another version, and often a dead giveaway that the player has a monster, is when part of the board is dealt and they immediately glance at your stack. What this means is that either they are trying to figure out how much of your stack they can get or they are planning to try to stack you.

If an amateur performs the chip glance, tend to give them credit for a big hand.

Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

2. The Card Check

This tell is pretty standard and one you may have already heard about. It involves the players looking at their hole cards again once a part of the board is dealt.

For example, two hearts come on the flop and your opponent checks their cards. They are usually checking to see if they have hearts.  Most beginning players are going to remember rank of cards over suits and when they check their cards, they are doing a suit check.

Another time this tell can work for you is on the river. If an opponent checks their cards here, they are looking to make sure they haven't overlooked something that can help them win.

If a flush or straight hasn't come through, they are looking to see if there is any reason to continue in the hand. In many cases a bet will take the pot right here. Adversely, if you bet on the river and they start checking their cards, you can expect a fold a high percentage of the time.

Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

3. The Pause

New players will often try to "look the part" when they are at the poker table. They will try to learn how to chip shuffle and mimic the actions of others they see playing.

Sometimes you will notice the moment when a board hits these players by watching for a momentary pause in their actions. For example, a beginning player momentarily stops shuffling their chips prior after the flop is dealt.

This is essentially an "I just hit the flop" moment for the player and they are often going to bet or raise.

4. Nervous Shaking

This physical tell is most useful on inexperienced players. For some players, a rush of adrenaline will cause them to physically shake at the poker tables.

Depending on the player, this is for one of two reasons. The first is that they have a big hand and the second is that they are bluffing.

Distinguishing between the two can be tough but the default read should lean towards them having a monster hand.

A personal example is one time I flopped quad jacks and each time I bet, my hand was shaking uncontrollably. Half of the table noticed and when I showed quads, the table knew what to look out for.

Fortunately, I had a way to combat this tell but it was a tell in its own right.

Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.

5. Change of Betting Motions

Referring to the prior instance regarding nervous shaking, you may notice some players suddenly changing the way they act during a hand at the tables. This is usually in response to some other physical tell that they are well aware of.

I mentioned how I shook when my adrenaline was up. Later, I noticed that it was my right hand and arm that did this and that I could control my left hand much better when my adrenaline was up.

So when I had a big hand, I started to bet with my left hand. An astute player should have noticed this and treated it just like I was shaking.

Note: Beware of False Tells

Before I close, the matter of false tells should be addressed. Smart players are well aware of various physical tells and will often try to trick their opponents by exhibiting these traits.

When these players are around players they don't know, these tricks work. However, if you know this player is experienced, don't fall for them. In most cases with experienced players, take Mike Caro's advice regarding tells in that "weak means strong and strong means weak."

Real Money Poker Sites

Среда, 29 Марта 2023 г. 17:11 + в цитатник
Another important thing to know about real money poker online? Over 95% of all real money poker games online run under $5 so you don't really need to invest much money - if any - to fully enjoy the game of poker online.
And not only can you play online poker for free in play-money games before you ever deposit any real money of your own, every poker site also offers free tournaments called "freerolls" where you can actually win real money with no risk.
Add in a poker site "sign-up" bonus (see our toplist above) and you can turn a minimal deposit at a real money poker website (or real money poker app) into a substantial amount of cash that can last a very, very long time.
Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

What is Real Money Poker?
First things first: To get started in real money poker games online we should distinguish what exactly we're talking about when you refer to "real money" poker.
To start with we're not talking about "free" or "play money" poker apps or sites like Zynga Poker or even real money video poker sites. We're specifically referring to the "real money" games offered by the big online poker providers such as 888poker, PokerStars, partypoker and the like.
These are all officially licensed and regulated poker sites that offer a range of real money poker games anywhere from just pennies up to hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Real money poker can be played in the form of cash games or tournaments of varying stakes and buy-ins and to play it you will need to have some "real money" in an online poker account that you create and register with a poker site.
If you read our review pages above and download the software from one of our links, you'll be walked through the process step-by-step and be eligible to receive our exclusive poker bonus offers (more on that below).
Real money poker games ARE available to poker players in the USA but are restricted to players who live in (or are visiting) the states where it is currently licensed and regulated.
The 3 current states with legalized real money poker for US players are Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware. All three states share a player pool and offer real-money poker cash games and tournaments at a variety of takes.

Real Money Poker vs. Play Money Poker
OK; now that we've clarified just what type of real money poker we're talking about, we'll throw another quick twist into the mix. At all of the real money poker sites you can find online there is also the option to play "play money" games before you actually dive into the real money poker action.
"Play money" games are just what they sound like. Real looking poker games but with "play money" chips that don't actually have any real value. These are open to anyone who creates an account at a real money poker site and are a great introduction to the speed of play and layout of an online poker table.

Hitting the free play-money tables will give you the chance to try the game for free, learn the rules of poker and get comfortable with how an online poker site works. There are also a certain type of play money game or tournament called a "freeroll" which you can play where you can actually earn real money to play poker with.
"Freerolls" are Real Money Poker with No Cost
After you get comfortable with the speed of play and the general flow of the game play, there's not much to learn from play-money games. When you play free poker no one at the table is actually risking any money.
Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.

Because of that most people will play, well, erratically. To put it mildly. They'll be willing to push all-in all the time regardless of what they have. In other words the game basically becomes a lottery without prizes and, to be honest, that's just not the best place to sharpen your poker strategy.

A much better option if you're looking to build a small bankroll and begin to play real money poker is to look for what are called "freeroll" tournaments.
These are literally "free" in that they don't cost you any money to enter. But the difference is they actually offer a small real-money prize pool that gets divided among the top finishers.
It could be actual cash money, or it could be a prize of "real-cash value", such as a tournament entry or a merchandise prize package.Either way, it is worth something.
Because of the possibility of actually winning something of value, players do try to play their best game and don't donk off their chips with any random hand. In freeroll tournaments superior poker skills start to matter. And this gives you the chance to actually outplay who you're up against.
If you do, you'll be rewarded with real money (or tournament tickets) you'll actually be able to use to enter real money poker games on the website.
All online poker sites offer new-depositor freerolls, ranging from $50 up to $10,000 in value, for all players who open an account and make a deposit. At times special freerolls with prize pools in the $100,000+ range are offered. PokerStars even offered four $1m freerolls in one calendar year!
Make a Deposit, Get a Real Money Poker Bonus
All poker sites also offer what are called "sign-up bonuses" for new players that register an account and making a deposit. These are usually a "match" bonus, meaning the poker site will match the money you deposit.
If you sign up to 888 Poker via a Poker Junkie link, for example, you'll get up to $888 at 100% match on your deposit. So if you deposit $50, you can get an extra $50 on top of from 888 just for playing at the tables, making your total account worth $100.
This is available all the way up to $888 total. At 888, you'll even get a free $8 instantly added to your account. Match bonuses are typically released in increments of $10 as you play a certain number of hands.

Real Money Poker is NOT Big Money Poker
A bit of a misnomer about real money online poker is that it requires a decent amount of money to play. In reality 95% of all online poker games run under $5, meaning you barely need any money at all to get involved in the action.

If you're prepared to invest as little as $20 all real-money poker sites run games at what are called the "micro" limits. You'll find dozens of games where the blinds or tournament buy-ins are only a few cents - meaning you can make that $20 last for a very, very long time.
If you take the game seriously - study poker strategy, watch poker games on TV and online, and really want to become a good player - the best thing is probably to make a small deposit and try to make it grow at the low-limit tables.
You'll meet other "real" poker players, be able to apply what you've learned at the tables and, over time, you'll more than likely start to make a reasonable profit. Not big money, but more than enough to try a few higher-stakes games or online poker tournaments, or cash out an get yourself something extra.
You'll also be earning real "player points" at whichever site you choose which you'll be able to cash in for merchandise and tournament tickets. Just remember: Never risk it all on "taking a shot." Don't climb in stakes when you've made a little profit.
Stay where you're comfortable and make a consistent profit, and only allocate a small portion of your bankroll to trying out some bigger stakes.
Real Money Poker on Mobile (Real Money Poker Apps)
When people talk about "real money poker apps" or real money poker you can play on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone, they mean real money poker games provided by one of these online poker sites via a downloadable poker app.

Again, these are NOT the many play money apps you can find in the Google Play or App Store (eg. Zynga Poker, Governor of Poker etc).
These are the same real money games you access on your laptop or desktop computer via the poker sites listed in the toplist above.
All of the best poker sites - PokerStars, 888poker, William Hill Poker, etc - have poker apps you can use on your phone or tablet to play real money games. You access your poker account the exact same way and can make deposits and withdrawals as usual.
Once you have the app installed you can navigate the mobile lobby just like you would the regular lobby and find all of the games and tournaments you usually play. The only small differences between the mobile app and the full poker software:
Some of the extensive software features like, say, 3D avatars and poker stat tracking is unavailable
Multi-tabling isn't quite as smooth (although still possible)
Otherwise games run as normal and as long as you have a strong wifi or data connection play can carry on unabated. Some people even prefer the lighter, more portable mobile app so they can play real money poker wherever they are on even on the go from place to place.
The new wave of "Fast-Fold" poker games like Zoom Poker (PokerStars) or Speed Poker (888poker) are perfect for playing real money poker on mobile as as soon as you fold your hand you're instantly moved to a new table and dealt a new hand.

Omaha Poker Rules | Official Rules for Omaha Poker

Вторник, 28 Марта 2023 г. 11:56 + в цитатник

Texas Hold'em is still by far the most popular poker variation but Omaha - specifically Pot-Limit Omaha - is closing the ground between them.

Will it ever catch up and become the preferred game for most poker players - either online or live? Well, no. Odds are low.

While heavy poker players might get bored with Hold'em after a while (read: 400,000 hands) and make the switch to Omaha, Hold'em is still the perfect game for most recreational and amateur players.

The rules are simple, the rush of a massive all in will always make for great and memorable moments (win or lose) and the game offers enough complexity to unfold in different layers over years of play.

Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

Omaha Poker ... It's a great action game. At least Pot-Limit Omaha is. And you'll get a lot of big hands, which is fun. Omaha also offers a ton of complex strategy to chew on for years.

But it just doesn't have quite the "je ne sais quoi" of Hold'em. And it's not quite as accessible for the average player. It may "only" be 2 extra cards but it's enough to keep it running slightly behind Hold'em as the game of choice for the poker world writ large.

That being said ... You should learn to play it! The Omaha strategy you learn will pay off ten-fold in your Hold'em game. It's also an essential component of being a great mixed-game player. And, when it comes right down to it, Omaha poker really is fun.

As an added bonus Omaha poker rules are very similar to Texas Hold'em so it won't take long to make the leap. Below we'll break down the basic rules and game play of:

  • Omaha High

  • Omaha Hi-Lo (Omaha 8 or Better)

How to Play Omaha Poker

omaha poker rules

Good news! The rules of Omaha Poker are virtually identical to the rules of Texas Hold'em poker. It's a community card game, there are blinds and four rounds of betting, the highest 5-card poker wins.

There are two basic differences between Hold'em and Omaha:

  • Each player gets 4 hole cards in Omaha (vs. 2 In Hold'em)

  • You MUST use exactly 2 of your hole cards to make your best 5-card poker hand

And that's pretty much it (outside of the Hi-Lo variation of Omaha - more on that below). The hardest thing to get used to probably is needing to use exactly 2 of your hole cards to make your best hand. That means you can't:

  • Play the board

  • Use one of your hole cards

Otherwise game play goes along identically to Texas Hold'em so if you've played it before you'll be fine switching over to Omaha. If you need a quick refresher on the basic rules of Omaha play, here's it is:

Rules of Omaha Poker (High)

  • 2-10 players at each table

  • Small Blind and Big Blind are paid each hand

  • Player directly to the left of the dealer pays the small blind

  • Player directly to the left of the small blind pays the big blind

  • Dealer button and blinds rotate to the left after each hand

  • Each player is dealt 4 hole cards in sequence for each hand

  • First betting round begins with the player to the left of the big blind

  • After all the bets are matched dealer burns one card and then deals 3 cards face up in middle of the table. This is called the flop.

  • Flop cards are community cards each player can use to make their final hand

  • After the flop a second betting round begins starting with the player closest to the left of the dealer still in the hand

  • Once all bets are matched dealer burns one more card then deals another community face up card on the board (the "turn")

  • Third betting round begins after the turn, again starting with player to left of dealer

  • Once all best are matched dealer burns one card and deals a fifth community (the "river")

  • The fourth and final betting round begins again with player closest to left of dealer

  • Once all bets are matched all players left in hand reveal hands for showdown

  • Best high 5-card poker hand wins with each player using exactly 2 of their original four hole cards

The final point is a very important distinction for Omaha poker. Each player's best 5-card hand must have:

  • 2 hole cards

  • 3 board cards

That's it. No variations are possible - ie one hole card plus 4 board cards, all board cards. If you need a refresher for the poker hand rankings, here it is:

  • Royal Flush (A, K, Q, J, 10 all of same suit)

  • Straight Flush. (5 Cards in sequence all in same suit - eg 7h-8h-9h-Th-Jh)

  • Four of a Kind. (All four cards of same rank)

  • Full House. (3 Cards of one rank alongside 2 cards of another - eg. 6H-6s-6d-8d-8c)

  • Flush (All 5 cards or one suit, any rank)

  • Straight (A sequence of 5 cards of rank, any suit - eg, 2h-3d-4c-5s-6c)

  • Three of a kind (3 cards or any one rank, two unmatched cards)

  • Two pair (Two different pairs plus one unmatched card)

  • One pair (One pair of equal rank, 3 unmatched cards)

  • High Card (all unmatched cards ranked by the highest single card)

Another important note about Omaha Poker Rules:

rules of omaha poker

Omaha is typically only played in either Limit or Pot-Limit format. It is RARELY played as No-Limit. The action is already pretty hectic as it is so No-Limit is not a preferred format for playing. Omaha poker.

Perhaps the most popular form of Omaha poker is Pot-Limit Omaha, which is played by all the best high-stakes pros and is a super fast, super fun action game played at all stakes.

The trickiest part of learning to play Pot-Limit Omaha is figuring out how to calculate what your pot-size bets and raises can be on each street. As luck would have it, we've put together a guide to calculating pot bets right here to help you along:

Omaha Poker Rules -- Hi-Lo (Omaha 8-or-Better)

More good news for people who hate learning new rules: the only way Omaha High and Omaha Hi-Lo differ is when it comes to the showdown.

In standard Omaha High (and Pot-Limit Omaha), the high hand wins the whole pot - just like Texas Hold'em. Again, there are the hand rankings up above if you need a refresher.

In Omaha Hi-Lo, the pot is split between the best high hand and the best low hand. As you might guess from the name above, there's also a catch:

The low hand has to be "8 or Better" to qualifying for that half of the pot. In other words a qualifying low hand must have:

  • 5 unpaired cards all ranked at 8 or below

The "better" part might be a bit confusing there as they all have to be lower than 8 rather than higher than 8, but in terms of a lowball game that means that are technically "better."

Some more important points of note for ranking Omaha 8-or-Better low hands:

  • Aces are both high and low - high for the high hand and low for the low hand

  • Flushes and straights DO NOT COUNT for the low hand but DO count for the high hand

  • Low hands are ranked from the high card down, so the lowest "high" card in the low hand determines the ranking

  • Players still have to make up their high and low hands from exactly 2 hole cards and 3 board cards

  • Players can use the same cards to make up their best high hand and their best low hand or use different cards

  • Any pair or card higher than 8 disqualifies a hand from being able to win the low share of the pot

  • Pairs under 8 still disqualify a low hand

  • If the highest low card is the same in two players' hands the next lowest card determines the winner

  • If players share the same low hand they split the half pot between them - this is called getting "quartered"

The lowest possible hand in Omaha 8-or-better is: 5-4-3-2-A, which is called a "Five Low." It also counts as a straight or "wheel" for the high hand.

If you're want to learn quickly you can get A LOT of Omaha hands in online by playing the free games offered at major poker sites including 888poker, PokerStars and William Hill Poker, to name a few.

Asian Handicap Tips

Понедельник, 27 Марта 2023 г. 06:38 + в цитатник

To betting beginners, Asian Handicaps can look like one of the scarier types of betting. Picking a team to win with a 0.25 goal handicap seems counter-intuitive – after all, how can you score a quarter of a goal - and as such Asian Handicaps might appear to be more complex than they really are.

However, if you take time to learn and have the patience to understand how these kinds of handicaps work, then it really is possible to improve your betting profits by using Asian Handicaps. We’re going to concentrate on how they work in soccer betting in this article, but the principle is the same across many other sports such as tennis, basketball and American football.

Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

Why bet on an Asian Handicap?

The Asian Handicap was created by bookmakers to do two serve two purposes.

Firstly, the Asian Handicap reduces the number of betting outcomes to two. This is useful in sports like soccer where there are often ties. Secondly, it helps to even up mismatched contests, so that odds on bets are closer to evens (2.00). This makes it more interesting for betting purposes.

One of the most important things to consider when betting on an Asian Handicap is the “line” or “spread”. This is the point where either side of the handicap is even. In a perfectly even game, the line with bookmakers will be 1.90 either side (2.00 – 10% which represents the bookie’s commission) at 0.

The more likely a team is to lose, the bigger the handicap they are given. For example, in a match where a bookie expects a team to lose by 2, they would set the line so that the underdog has +2 and the favourite is -2. Betting on the underdog would need them to lose by less than 2 to win the bet, while the favourite would need to win by more than 3 to win the bet.

Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

How do you bet on an Asian Handicap?

The simplest Asian Handicap is 0. This is the same as betting on “draw no bet” – you are betting on one team to win. If there is a tie, then the bet is a “push” and you receive your stake back. Likewise, if you are betting on a team with an Asian Handicap of +2.00, you are betting on them to not lose by three goals or more.

Half goals take the push out of the equation. For example, if you were betting on an underdog to win +0.5, then if the team won or drew the match, your bet would win. This is shown below.

Check out all the https://wintips.com/soccer-tips/ at wintips by clicking here.

  • If the favourite wins 1-0, then with the handicap added they win 1-0.5 and the bet is lost

  • If the match finishes as a 1-1 tie then with the handicap added the underdog wins 1-1.5 and the bet is won.

  • Likewise, if the match finishes as a 1-2 win to the underdog then with the handicaps added the underdog wins 1-2.5 and the bet is won.

Quarter goals give the chance of half stakes being won, returned or lost depending on the match result. These are a bit more complex it depends on the exact number as to if you win or lose half of your stake.

Best Online Bookmakers: Top Online Bookies with Competitive Odds and Bonuses for Betting on Sports

Воскресенье, 26 Марта 2023 г. 19:41 + в цитатник

Online bookmakers have been upping their game in a bid to bring in new customers. Now, there are tons of amazing online sports betting sites, so how do you go about finding the cream of the crop?

Well, we are here to help. Our team of expert bettors went on the quest of finding the best online sportsbooks. The best overall, based on our strict criteria, is Bovada, but we found seven other alternatives that are close behind.

Let’s dive right in.

Click here to visit https://wintips.com/ on your favorite sports.

Best Online Bookmakers

1. Bovada - Best Online Bookmaker Overall

Pros:

  • Low wagering requirement on sports welcome bonus

  • High-quality mobile app

  • Extensive coverage of real-world sports

  • Lots of good online casino games

Cons:

  • Lacking eSports betting coverage

Online betting site Bovada is just about the perfect place for sports betting. You can bet on pretty much everything you could possibly imagine (other than a few eSports), and there’s a great welcome bonus waiting for all new players.

Betting Markets and Odds: 4.9/5

Pretty much every sporting event in the world is covered excellently at Bovada, with a wide range of markets for each individual competition, match, or race. That can be said of major sports like football and baseball, plus a few more niche ones, including Gaelic football.

In fact, the only area in which Bovada struggles a little is with its eSports. You can bet on the big games such as League of Legends and Dota 2, but you won’t find markets for some less popular games like FIFA yet.

Furthermore, there aren’t any novelty betting markets like politics and financial bets. It’s strictly sports betting here!

Find out more about https://wintips.com/bookmakers/ by following this link.

Sports Betting Bonuses: 4.8/5

You can get your first sportsbook deposit bonus at Bovada, which can go up $250. That’s more than most people are going to want to put down (even if it is a little lower than the max deposit of some of the other bonuses in our top picks).

But the best part about this welcome bonus is the fact that the rollover requirement is very low. You’ll only need to play through it five times before you’re able to claim your winnings, and that makes the whole process a lot easier than with some other online sportsbooks.

If you prefer, you can take advantage of the casino bonus instead. It’s a lot bigger, but the wagering requirements are much higher. There, players can get a massive 100% up to $1,000 on their first deposit or 125% up to $1,250 if they choose to play with crypto.

Website and Mobile App: 4.9/5

Bovada is one of the few online sports betting sites to offer a downloadable app instead of just a mobile site. This is great news for sports bettors, as it’s quicker to load, contains better functions (like live graphics), and is generally more pleasing to use, thanks to some great design work.

We should also point out that Bovada’s casino section is very good, too. There are a couple of hundred games to choose from, including live blackjack and roulette, plus plenty of slots from some top-quality providers.

Overall: 4.8/5

Pretty much all bookie reviews about Bovada are dazzlingly positive, and having given it a try for ourselves; we can totally see why. Bovada gets just about everything right, and that’s exactly why we’ve chosen it as our best online sportsbook.

2. BetOnline - Best Online Bookmaker for Mobile

Pros:

  • Beautiful downloadable mobile app

  • 25% reload bonus for every deposit

  • Tons of deposit methods

  • Wide range of eSports betting markets

Cons:

  • High minimum deposit for bonus

At a very close second place is the mighty BetOnline. It has a perfect site design, particularly through its mobile app, and some great bonuses to make gambling even more exciting.

Betting Markets and Odds: 4.9/5

There are a lot of markets to bet on at BetOnline. Just like Bovada, sports are covered almost perfectly and with great odds to boot, according to our testing.

We also like that there are a lot of non-sporting markets available for betting at BetOnline. You can bet on all different types of events, including politics.

It also goes a little better with its eSports betting. Instead of just allowing punters to bet on the big games like Counter-Strike, it offers some smaller pro eSports games, including Valorant and Age of Empires II.

Sports Betting Bonuses: 4.9/5

There’s a 50% deposit bonus worth up to $1,000 waiting for everyone who signs up at BetOnline. That’s a lot of money!

As great as this bonus is, the wagering requirements hold it back ever so slightly. You’ll need to play through it 10 times in order to withdraw your wins. That makes it a little bit trickier to get hold of your cash. Plus, the minimum deposit of $55 is a little high for our liking.

There’s a great reload bonus available here, though. You can get 25% back on every deposit you ever make on the site with the bonus code LIFEBONUS.

Website and Mobile App: 5/5

BetOnline has its own mobile app that can be downloaded from both the Play Store and the App Store. The BetOnline mobile app looks super modern, is easy to use, and allows you to stream a bunch of the events you’re interested in.

Of all online bookmakers, BetOnline has the best mobile compatibility. Yes, we said it! And they also deliver a great desktop site as well. Simply put, no matter what you are looking for, BetOnline got your back.

Another cool thing about BetOnline is that there is an abundance of payment options when it comes to depositing and withdrawing.

These include loads of eWallets and tons of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ripple, and Dogecoin. We counted over 10 cryptocurrencies here!

Overall: 4.85/5

As you can probably tell, BetOnline and Bovada were pretty much neck and neck for the top spot in our list of the best online bookmakers today. It really did come down to the wire, as BetOnline is a heck of an online betting platform.

3. MyBookie - Most Generous Bonuses of All Online Bookmakers

Pros:

  • 50% matched deposit up to $1,000 upon signup

  • Loads of reload bonuses and more

  • Great casino section

  • Plenty of novelty betting markets

Cons:

  • Out-of-date site design

MyBookie may not exactly look the part, but it’s easily one of the best online bookmakers out there right now. Let’s find out why.

Betting Markets and Odds: 4.9/5

We’re very impressed with both the sports betting markets and odds at MyBookie. Pretty much every sport in the world can be bet on extensively and with pretty competitive odds.

You’ll also find plenty of novelty bets, like who will win the next UK General Election.

Again, there isn’t the best choice when it comes to eSports betting as only the main sports are covered especially well. League of Legends, Dota 2, and such are covered pretty well, but the coverage of smaller eSports is limited. Still, the variety is quite decent.

On top of this wide range of sports betting markets, it should be noted that MyBookie has a pretty strong casino section. The games portfolio consists of some of the best slot games out there, plus some decent live casino games.

Sports Betting Bonuses: 4.9/5

MyBookie has bucketloads of bonuses! But let’s start with the first, the welcome bonus. It’s a 50% matched deposit up to $1,000 that you’ll need to trigger by entering the bonus code MYB50 when you place the deposit.

That’s not bad at all, and neither is the rollover of 10x. It’s a touch on the high side for sports betting bonus, but it shouldn’t be too tricky to navigate.

But things get really interesting when we go into the ongoing bonuses for all players. For a start, there’s the reload bonus that you can use whenever you want. Just enter the code MYB25 on any deposit to get it matched 25% with a rollover of 6x on those bonus funds.

To add to that, there’s an 8% horse rebate, a 200% referral bonus, and plenty of bonuses for the casino, like Rebate Mondays and Wednesday Free Spins.

Website and Mobile App: 4.85/5

The actual MyBookie website isn’t the most attractive in the world, and that can be said on both desktop and mobile. It feels like it hasn’t had a refresh in quite a while, and as a result, it looks a little dated.

It’s fairly easy to use once you can get past this, though, and that’s the more important factor here. The layout does make much sense, and the menus are really handy.

And there are quite a few ways to pay. You can deposit and withdraw with loads of eWallets and cryptocurrencies on top of the standard credit and debit card. The minimum deposit is pretty high, though, at $55.

Overall: 4.8/5

We love an online betting site that throws the kitchen sink and its bonus selection. There’s enough here to keep the extra funds flowing and then some!
