The tournament will have seven rounds for five days, with the first three days being held in group stages. Only the top place in each group will be allowed to advance to the round of 16, and the round of 16 through the final will be held for two days in a tournament format.

 

The draw will be held on the 14th, the day before the main tournament, to determine the group match of this tournament. The draw will be held in a unique way that can only be seen in Doosan Match Play, and 16 players who have been allocated A-seed (top seed) out of 64 players will directly draw to select players in groups B, C, and D to compete with them.
