Kim Yeon-koung advanced to the championship as second place in the 2020-21 regular season after returning from overseas life, but lost to GS Caltex in all three games. She postponed her retirement before the end of this season. She advanced to the championship by beating over Chung Kwan-jang in the playoffs, but failed to overcome her physical burden and lost.
