A little fable.
Many years ago there was a man. This man had a bird. Every morning this bird gave him an egg. These eggs were not simple eggs, they were gold eggs. He was very happy to get a gold egg every morning.
But this man was greedy. One morning he thought, My bird gives me a gold egg every morning. I do not want to have one gold egg every day. I want to have all my gold eggs today.
He took a knife and opened the bird with it. The bird died and there were no eggs in it. Now the man had no bird and had no gold egg every morning.
This is a fable, but when we see a greedy man who wants to have all at once, we say that he is a man who is ready to kill a bird that gives him gold eggs.
