Keywords are an integral part of marketing a product, service, website, or anything online. External keywords as well as internal keywords must be researched and utilized in every online marketing endeavor. When the right keywords are secured, they need to be used on the website itself, and offsite as described in the five examples below.
1) First, we have PPC marketing. This is where you place ads in Google, other search engines, or targeted websites, and then pay per each click that someone makes on the ad. Keywords are targeted for the market that you want to attract and there are many strategies that can be applied to these external keywords. Many marketers find success utilizing this method of online marketing.
2) Article marketing has been proven very successful to market both products and services. External keywords are used in the title of the article, throughout the body of the article, and as the anchor text in the link that is place in the resource box that follows the article. Here again, it is most important to do thorough keyword research so that you find the key words and phrases that you can compete with online. The last thing that you want to do is put time and effort into a project that will never return results. If the keyword you target already has thousands, or tens or hundreds of thousands, of websites using it, you may never be able to rank high enough in the search engines for people to find you.
3) Using keywords as tags, or anchor text, anytime that you place your website URL online is a great strategy for the search engines because they will find these tags and be able to follow them to your website. When they see that your website is related, with the same keywords as your external keyword links, your website will be rewarded with top search engine listings. These tags also establish backlinks to your website that are highly regarded by the search engines.
4) Social media and social marketing use external keywords to link back to websites with the goal of driving traffic to the websites. People search the social sites by using keywords to find what interests them or what they want to know more about or research. If they like the content or information that is given, they will spread the word which can bring a lot of referral traffic to the website. This kind of traffic is highly targeted since the visitor is already looking for what your website represents.
5) Other forms of online advertising are also centered around external keywords that link back to the website. When you post a video online or bookmark your website or post a document from your website, you use keywords to tag the information. When participating in forums, you use keywords to find your market. Any kind of content that is placed online, in the formats mentioned and many others like podcasts, banner advertising, classified ads, even email marketing use keywords as an integral part of the process.
Marketing a website online can be done in any number of ways. It is beneficial to use at least a few of these at a time to create different funnels that can send traffic to the website. The goal is to get new visitors to the website every day so that you can present your product or service and convert visits into sales. External keywords are such an important part of the online marketing process that if you are not confident you can find the right keywords, it is well justified to outsource this essential task.

So basically the Google ranking is given by the PageRank algorithm that is like this:
PR(A) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) +... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))
where:
PR(A) is the PageRank of page A,
PR(Ti) is the PageRank of pages Ti which link to page A,
C(Ti) is the number of outbound links on page Ti and
d is a damping factor which can be set between 0 and 1.
Here we see some interesting things: PageRank does not rank sites as a unit. Instead determines for each page individually. Also, you can see that the formula is recursively, where the Pagerank of page A is defined by the PageRanks of those pages that link to page A. So something you should consider is inbound and outbound links.
Link submission is a crucial part of ranking in Google so I will explain to you how I get ready for this process:
To start this process you will need some Anchor text and description that fit best your site. This is, create a few (5 o 6 to begin with) mixing keywords.
Place the keyword both in the Anchor Text (title) and Description.
Anchors usually can contain between 1 and 6 words and description can be up to 250 characters (this depends on the directory).
Later you can submit your site to many free Directories. Just Google search "Free Web Directories".
Here is also a small recommendation of SEO friendly directories that have really high Pagerank and can help you build a nice quality traffic:
1 ipl.org
2 dmoz.org
3 freeprwebdirectory.com
4 adirect2z.com
5 mastermoz.com
6 nuoret.org
7 searchsight.com
8 searchwiz.com
9 arakne-links.com
10 directory-free.com
Information like this will help you understand Google PageRank, and also improve your site ranking

Whether you've got an online company or a brick-and-mortar store in the real world, it makes sound business sense to hire the services of SEO specialists. Many people think that SEO is something that only affects Internet businesses. The truth is that it affects all businesses, online and offline. The very scope of the Internet is immense, with small, local businesses having immediate access to international markets with a mere click of a mouse. This also means that the Internet can become your best friend in business or your worst enemy. If you're not paying attention to SEO and your online presence, you could be losing out on valuable business and making yourself vulnerable to smear campaigns from unscrupulous competitors.
What Does SEO Mean for Your Business?
In order to understand the importance of hiring SEO specialists, we need to learn about the importance of SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization. When people use the Internet, they usually use search engines. Sites that are ranked on the first page are generally the ones that people click on. If your site appears on the fourth or fifth page, chances are that people aren't even going to see it. Unfortunately, this is how many good businesses end up getting buried online. If people can't find you online, they can't give you any business. This is precisely where search engine optimization comes in. SEO uses a range of different techniques to ensure that your site gets a higher ranking with the search engines.
So what does this actually mean in terms of your business? To understand this, let's look at the simple example of distributing sales flyers. Let's say that you distribute them to anyone and everyone you meet. You may end up giving away a lot of flyers, but that doesn't mean you're going to get a lot of customers. Now, let's say that you distribute these same flyers to people that you know are interested in this specific sale. The chances of you attracting customers who are liable to make purchases are much higher. SEO specialists can help you attract this kind of targeted traffic. It can bring people to your site who are actually interested in your product and are not just liable to buy something; they will probably tell others as well.
Reputation Management
SEO specialists can also help you to manage your online business reputation. You may have a great reputation in the real world, but if someone is intentionally slandering your name online, those negative statements could wind up on the first pages when people use the search engines. When you hire SEO teams, you're also hiring a security task force of sorts. Not only will they be able to monitor your reputation online, but they will be able to implement techniques and strategies to ensure that your online reputation helps your overall business image.
The bottom line is that, when it comes to doing better business, you simply can't afford to ignore your online presence. Search engine optimization and online reputation management are important for all businesses, big or small, online or offline. Hiring SEO specialists will help you to target the right kinds of customers to your business. It will also give you more control over your online presence and reputation.
SEO specialists can help any kind of business, whether it's online or in the real world. You can hire SEO teams to bring in more targeted traffic and to maintain your online reputation.

Got a website? Not enough visitors? Ready to rank higher on the major search engines but don't know how to do it? This article is for you -- we'll have a look at the basics of optimization for the major search engines, covering the key points for getting better rankings naturally for your site. Enough reading countless blog postings by folks simply speculating on search algorithms (I know, I've spent countless hours doing it myself, to no avail!) Statistical analysis of the major ranking factors used by the search engines has been performed -- there's no reason to do more. The factors and their weighting have remained relatively constant for years. Focus on these important points, then spend your efforts building a better, more attractive, more easily navigated, more informative website -- for once these visitors actually arrive, you'll want them to enjoy themselves while they're buying you out.
Let's start with the all important formula, the 40:40:20 ratio. Through statistical analysis of thousands of sites, these numbers appear to be fairly accurate across the major search portals: 40% of rankings are a result of 'on-page' factors, 40% a result of off-page factors (backlinks and same site links), and 20% a result of the page URL (the exact percentages vary slightly between engines). The beauty of this is data is the resultant simplicity of the approach to achieve better search results for your important keywords. Keep your eye on the ball, work diligently on each factor, and results will come. For the small business owner with a web presence (either as a primary sales channel or component to a larger advertising strategy) there is certainly always work to do. With discipline and focus, one can become efficient in their search engine ranking efforts.
First, on-page factors: Get your keywords in all the right places, with the right density, for each important page on your site. (Don't know about keyword development yet? Use seobook.com's keyword tool, and see what people are typing in to all the major engines. For example, a site owner that sells aromatherapy products might type in 'aromatherapy' or 'essential oils' -- the tool will return all the permutations of those terms. Develop pages following the 40:40:20 formula for each of the terms that you can, focusing on one or two keyword or keyword phrases per page -- more than that is self-defeating, diluting your efforts; make a new page instead.) So what are the right places and right density? Get the keyword in the title tag, the description tag and the keywords tag. DO NOT STUFF these tags, be elegant and think about your reader. Experience has shown minor variations to be insignificant in terms of rankings, and more often than not, it seems folks go overboard with their keywords. As often as you might think, "I'll add it in just one more place on the page", it might be helpful to always consider the possibility that one LESS time might improve your rankings too.
Let's look at the latest data for the 'sweet spots' for on-page ranking factors. A 10 to 20% density keyword density for the tile, 10% for both the meta keywords description is optimal. The keyword at or toward the beginning of each of these is optimal, but not necessary. What's this mean? If we use the term 'essential oils' again, an optimal title tag might be 'Pure Essential Oils and Accessories for Natural Health Professionals'. The keyword list would be ten to twenty words, comma separated, with the most important words at the beginning, and ALL words should appear in the body text of the page. The description can be (but doesn't have to) a well written, attention grabbing sentence -- it will likely be displayed in the organic search results, so you'll want it to be both SEO and customer friendly. Again, 20 or so words, keyword near or at the beginning. Keyword can appear twice, but no more than that. Body text: 1000 words or so (+/- a couple hundred), with a 2% keyword density, and the keyword (or words) appearing near the beginning, in the middle, and near the end of the page code (not just the output text). There are tons of density analyzers on the web -- pick one, focus on the body text number and ignore the rest. You'll get a lot of conflicting reports from various sites -- this can be confusing, misleading, and can can make you think you've got to go re-tweak other factors. Don't. You'll spend hours optimizing for that tool, only to find the next tool gives a different answer. Use the numbers here and move on.
Briefly, other notable on-page factors are image alt tags, H1-H6 tags, bold and italic text, and the number of outgoing (inter and intra site) links. Here's the scoop: Alt tags matter. Get your keywords in them, but don't overdo it. Don't use H tags, as according to the data, they'll bring your rankings down. Use bold and italics if it suits the design and readability of your site; they may be a positive factor, but not a huge one, and don't stuff your keywords in them. The higher the number of links on a page, the better. One hundred links seems optimal, but don't sweat it. Always keep in mind that usability and aesthetics are crucial too. Having javascript on the page appears to be a positive ranking factor. Finally, page size (all the text, minus the images) is optimal at 50-60k. This number is shown adjacent to the page in search results. A note on on-page code in general, a balance is important -- the search engines don't care what your page looks like from a design standpoint, they only see the code. But your customers do. And while data is not available, it is more than likely the major search portals are noticing how long a visitor stays on the page, recording whether they return to the search results to find another page. Strive to make your site clean, useful and engaging -- this will pay off in more ways than one.
Off page factors -- these include links from within your site and 'backlinks' from other websites. You MUST get backlinks to rank well, and it's probably the most challenging of all search engine optimization to do. You'll need to continuously acquire backlinks, or your rankings will stagnate, or even slowly drop. Optimally, you'll get a few links a day, with a steady increase in the total number. The two most often used routes are link exchange (asking for links from other sites, and putting their links on your site in exchange) or article distribution. There's lots of information on the web about exchanging links, read some, develop a plan and stick to it. Once you've got a system in place, you'll likely be able to hire someone to help you. Article distribution is another matter. Articles should really be quality, readable, helpful information for prospective customers. You'll get to post links within the author resource box, which serves both as an enticement for readers to visit your site, a means to give credibility to your internet business, plus search engines will also see these links and use them in their ranking algorithm. An effective linking program will utilize both these link sources. Remember, it's not the total number of links, but a consistently increasing number that has the greatest long-term results. Don't start a scheme that will give you 1000 links in one day, then none for the next month, or links that will slowly disappear -- this can do more harm than good.
Some caveats about links -- links from within your own site should be text links with the keyword in the link. So the Aromatherapy site would use 'essential oils' in all the links to their essential oils page. Off-site links should also use keywords in text links, but not always the same words. Mix it up. Here, for example, some of backlink text examples would be 'pure essential oils', 'organic essential oils', 'aromatherapy essential oil', and 'essential oils'. Further, about 30% of your links should just include the webpage address, like '[http://www.johnnysessentialoils.com]' or '[http://www.bestbathproducts.com/essentialoils.php] This helps your backlinks appear naturally created, rather than machine made search engine spider spam. A final note on backlinks, all pages that link to yours are not weighted equally. The older and more relevant the page, the more weight your link will garner. If your site is selling essential oils, links from a natural health website will likely be more beneficial than those from a poker website.
With that we'll describe the last 20%: the URL. Web pages with the keywords in the address, be it the homepage or any other page on the site, rank better. If the If you're just starting a site, getting your primary kewords in the url is useful. If not, and it makes sense to do so, use keywords in the filename like [http://www.homepage.com/essentialoilspage1.html]. Again, it appears better if the file does not have only the keywords in it, like the title and meta tags. If you already have pages without keywords in the filenames, you could create new ones and create a 301 redirect from the old ones to maintain any ranking status the 'old' pages had. Hyphens are still questionable, and are probably not needed. Short filenames and shallow directory structures appear best.
Some last remarks: A page's age means something. If you want to change a filename to include keywords in it, always employ a 301 redirect if the page has been indexed already -- do a little research to get this right. Search engine ranking change constantly, and some engines are quicker to appreciate your optimization efforts than others. Be patient -- it can take months to see results if the site is new, and sometimes weeks otherwise. Don't think you made a mistake just because nothing happened the first time a spider visited your new page. Keep working on your accumulation of backlinks; you probably have lots of pages targeting various keywords you can get links for. More optimal could mean higher quality -- the engines continually get smarter, and may be keeping track of how long visitors linger on your page versus your competitors. This leads us to the final important note -- visitors are only one part of the equation. A well-designed site, product mix and pricing, and customer service all play key roles in the health of your business.
The author spends way too much time on his laptop, doing search marketing for a number of websites. He dreams of getting away, all the while smelling the wonderful pure therapeutic essential oils emanating from his aromatherapy essential oil diffuser.

Smart Search Engine optimization starts with looking at web pages with one eye closely watching the search engine spiders. once that the search engine optimizer is capable of doing this, he or she is half way to mastership of the search engine results.
It has been said many times that search engines rank web pages and NOT web sites as a whole. what this means to the optimizer is that high ranking cannot be achieved for a main page dedicated to ten keyword phrases. However different pages within your site will appear up in the list of search engine results if you optimize each page for just one or maybe two keyword phrases.
if you cannot use your chosen keyword phrase in the url of your website then do not despair, use it as a folder name or even the name of the web page itself. All search engines show the url's of definitive pages within the site, not just the main url itself.
Search engine spiders do not see your graphics or javascript dynamics on your page that you use to capture your visitors. you could use a wonderful graphic page that mentions you sell widgets, however the search engines will not be able to determine that you actually sell widgets. This is where the world of image alternative names take pride of place in the optimizers eyes. The ALT attribute therefore can be a very search engine friendly way of describing your sales conscious website.
As a general rule, search engine spiders have a definitive limit on how much of your web page it will load. For example, googlebot does not read more than the initial 100KB of your page even if it is directed to do so, such as the method of adding keyword phrases to the bottom of your page. Keyword phrases used outside of this range are generally wasted and become 'invisible' to the search engines. our advice is not to overload the HEAD area of your page with various script calls or style attributes.
There are many, many more examples of contextual relevancy a spider considers whilst visiting a page, one of these is the proximity to the beginning of the page that your main keyword phrase occupies, Wasting space with menu bars etc. before the search engine reads the main context is an optimizing nightmare waiting to happen.
Without doubt, no one really knows what all indicators are for ranking highly within the search engine results, however, keep your web pages, simple, clean and relevant, it seems even in these days of latent semantic indexing this method is indeed the best way to ensure search engine optimization success.

Appearing on page one of Google can drive you a tremendous amount of traffic to your website. To really know how to appear on this page, you need to understand how Google works:
There Are Two Ways of Getting Traffic
- Using search engines optimization (SEO)
- NOT using SEO (using forum, list swaps, or classified ads, content distribution...)
How Does Google Works?
Google ranks individual pages, not your website as a whole! This means that a website could have a hundred of individual pages, and what would happen is Google would read each pages of this website, and depending on a different number of factors, this will determine if that particular page turns up when somebody conducts a search in Google.
When you type in keywords on the Google search bar, you get results known as S.E.R.P's (standing for Search Engine Result Page) Two different results appears:
- The paid advert results: On the top of the page, and on the right hand side are the "pay-per-click advertising". People pay a certain amount of money, but they don't pay money for the ad to appear, they only pay when somebody clicks on the ad... It is paid traffic.
Fact: 1% to 2% of visitors click on the right hand side links, and only 4% to 6% click on the top links.
- The free organic results: All the other results appearing on the page - They are links to pages of main websites. If you appear on page one on Google, on the S.E.R.P's, you will get a lot of traffic.
Fact: 10 to 30% click on the organic result.
How Do I Get On Page One Of Google in The Organic Results For Free?
It can be relatively easily done, but you need to know what Google wants: They want to look after their customers, they want their experience to be the best possible. They want us (their customers) to trust them!! And we do trust them because they make sure that when we conduct a search at Google, the results that are shown are pertinent to our search request.
What happens is Google have their own setup algorithms for deciding what shows up when we type in a search. Now there are a few factors that determines this algorithm but the MAIN elements that Google looks for are:
- Contents
- Back-links - A webpage with many links to it from another webpage - If the referring site is a popular site, then even more credibility can it gives you!
If you want to get traffic to your squeeze page, you have to realize that a squeeze page is not full of content, all you are trying to do is building your list. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but in Google's eyes, it is not particularly great and so guess what...
GOOGLE DOES NOT LIKE SQUEEZE PAGES!!
So if Google doesn't like squeeze page, they are not going to rank it in the first place: Your squeeze page will not appear in the search engine results pages - It simply won't!
But don't worry because here is how you can appear on page one: Remember Google loves contents - Content is King and therefore one way to appear on page one of the search engine pages at Google is to write a keywords rich article, and then give this article to a popular article directory.
When you do so, you are now on a page at this popular website and remember Google rank pages. So the key is to have an article accepted on a very popular site with lots of back links - lots of contents.
Google loves that website - And because you have got an article on that website - You are kind of swept along with their success - And when somebody types in your keywords, then your article will appear on page one!!
Your squeeze page is never going to appear, ever, in the search engine result pages but an article must certainly could if you choose a good keyword - This is how search engine works - And how you can appear on page one of Google...

The future of search is unclear - what is clear is that change is rapidly happening for all of the top Internet search engines. Google as always is the frontrunner for many of these search trends, but even little guys like Ask.com are making waves. In this article, I will attempt to cover some of the more interesting search trends that are occurring today with the top Internet search engines - but I am by no means being comprehensive about the subject. Things are changing on a weekly, or sometimes even daily, basis, and future articles will cover additional developments in depth.
Universal Search
In May 2007, Google - the leader among top Internet search engines -- got people talking (again) when it rolled out its latest search concept, Universal Search. Universal Search was Google's attempt to create a single page of search results, rather than separate pages for types of results, such as videos, images, maps, and websites. When it was first introduced, many search engine optimization firms raced around exclaiming that this was one of those search trends that would change everything and that new optimization rules should be created and followed immediately.
I published an article in early 2007 in which I noted, "The problem with Universal Search is that it can muddy the results, and it can also introduce irrelevant results that a searcher cannot use (1)." I also wrote, "Clearly, Universal Search will change how an SEO campaign is run if it catches on. But this is a real if - users' search habits are hard to change overnight, even if you are Google and you essentially define what searching is and how it works (2)."
And in fact, Universal Search didn't quite take off the way Google had hoped. A post on MediaPost's Search Insider by Mark Simon boldly states, "Universal Search will probably not be viewed as the greatest Google fiasco since Google Video, but it's clear that it's failed to deliver on the vaunted promises made by Marissa Mayer back in May (3)." So will we see more of Universal Search, or will it be quietly put to the side? Will other top Internet search engines want to use it for themselves? Only time will tell, but it seems like Google needs to do a lot more work before users really warm up to it.
Personalization and Personalized Search
Personalization on the other hand seems to be one of the search trends working very well for Google and many of the other top Internet search engines. In an article I wrote a few months ago, I said "The basic principle behind personalized search is simple. When you go to Google and type in a search query, Google stores the data. As you return to the engine, a profile of your search habits is built up over time. With this information, Google can understand more about your interests and serve up more relevant search results (4)."
As it works right now, if you use a Google product (Gmail, Google toolbar, AdWords, etc.), Google is keeping track of what you search for and what websites you visit, and it's then tailoring your results appropriately. Search for "bass," and Google will know whether you mean the fish or the instrument. As I pointed out, though, there are major issues with search trends like personalization:
Privacy issues that arise from personalized search are also a big question. The EU recently announced that it is probing into how long Google stores user information (this probe was subsequently extended to include all search engines). AOL recently committed a serious blunder when it released search data from 500,000 of its users, and it was discovered that it was fairly easy to identify many people by the search terms that they use...(5)
Yet if nobody makes a fuss about this, then it's very likely Google - and the other top Internet search engines - will start tracking everyone behind the scenes, whether they use a Google product or not.
It's actually already starting - right now, the cookie Google places on your machine (did you even know they did that?) will expire in two years - but they won't really expire at all. According to the official Google blog:
In the coming months, Google will start issuing our users cookies that will be set to auto-expire after 2 years, while auto-renewing the cookies of active users during this time period. In other words, users who do not return to Google will have their cookies auto-expire after 2 years. Regular Google users will have their cookies auto-renew, so that their preferences are not lost. And, as always, all users will still be able to control their cookies at any time via their browsers (6).
Seems it won't be long before Google knows what you're searching for before you do.
Expanding "Sneak Peeks"
Ask, one of the smaller of the top Internet search engines, has been using sneak peeks to entice searchers for a while now. Searchers who use Ask.com can mouse over an icon next to many results and see a screen shot of the website. No clicking needed. Google, always watching for search trends, seems to have noticed, because they've filed a patent for expanding their own snippets (7). Soon searchers on Google may be able to read expanded summaries of pages, or longer clips of page text. This tactic appeals to searchers who are now demanding more and more information faster and faster from the top Internet search engines, and who don't want to waste precious seconds clicking on a link and then on the back button to find just the right site for their needs.
Syntax Queries
When Ask was Ask Jeeves, the butler was supposed to listen to your search queries in the form of questions and then get answers for you. The problem was, this never worked exactly the way it was supposed to. Instead of answering the question based on syntax, the engine still responded to searches in the same way others did, by analyzing the words and returning a list. Jeeves was retired with a bit of fanfare, and the engine handles queries in the more traditional manner for now. But all of the top Internet search engines have continued to work on this concept, with Google again leading the way since it has the manpower and brainpower to do so. I expect that within the next year, this will be one of the search trends that the engines will want to focus on with a greater push toward answering questions rather than just returning related results.
Speech Recognition and the Mobile Market
Speech recognition is really going to be one of the huge search trends in the coming months and years for the top Internet search engines. In an interview from this past summer, Peter Norvig, director of Google Research, noted, "[Google] wanted speech technology that could serve as an interface for phones and also index audio text. After looking at the existing technology, we decided to build our own. We thought that, having the data and computational resources that we do, we could help advance the field (8)." With speech recognition in place, one could go to Google (or another of the top Internet search engines) and use a microphone to ask a question aloud, or just say some keyphrases, and get a list back immediately.
And speech recognition has the biggest benefit for top Internet search engines when it comes to users of mobile devices. Let's face it, as advanced as those keyboards may have gotten, they're still a pain to use and it's time-consuming to type in more than a few sentences. (That's y txt msgs r lk ths, u c?). Norvig is on top of that too, noting, "In general, it looks like things are moving more toward the mobile market, and we thought it was important to deal with the market where you might not have access to a keyboard or might not want to type in search queries (9)."
More to Come
As I noted in the beginning, this is just a small sampling of the search trends for the top Internet search engines today. Google, Yahoo, and even Ask are all working tirelessly to get your business and to make search easier, faster, and more accurate. Keep checking back for future articles covering some of the other trends and following up on the ones I've already discussed.

You have just decided that you want to start a web site. You pick a topic that interests you, build and tweak your web site template until it's perfect, and create a stunning logo that will instantly attract the attention of your visitors. Now you just have one thing missing, content. Content is the most important component of a web site. It is the factor that determines whether a web site will be a success, or just another couple of megabytes cluttering up the Internet. Because you know this already, you decide to buy content for you web site. For only $39.99, you can buy fifty articles tailored specifically to your site. Now all you have to do is kick back and wait for the money from AdSense to start pouring in.
You know that it can take several weeks for your web site to be indexed by Google, so you're not too discouraged by the almost nonexistent traffic of your web site. However, week after week passes, and there is still no traffic to your web site. You try typing every keyword that relates to your site into Google, but when you start scrolling through the results, your web site is nowhere to be found. How can this be possible? Your web site has over fifty articles! That should be more than enough content for Google to notice. However, the problem does not lie in the quantity of the content or in Google itself. There are three letters are responsible for your web site's nonexistent traffic: PLR.
The articles you bought are known as private label rights (PLR) articles. These articles are normally generated by software which uses keywords to create different article permutations. They are then marketed in bulk as "unique" or "custom" articles that can be used to populate a web site with content and achieve a high search engine ranking. Because these articles are very popular among many novice web masters, they are sold over and over. Because of this, the Internet can become very cluttered with the same duplicate content.
Because this is a known issue, Google and other search engines have created sophisticated software that can detect duplicate content. Whether you directly cut-and-paste or make some minor changes to the articles, search engines are still able to detect this duplicate content with their software. When duplicate content is detected, you search engine ranking suffers a penalty. So if you attempt to build an entire web site with duplicate, there is no hope of ever achieving a ranking within any keyword results.
Along with the damaging your search engine rankings, duplicate content can also present other negative effects. If you create an AdSense monetized web site solely with duplicate content, your site will quickly be labeled by any visitors as a "Made for AdSense" site, which will result in your site earning no profit. Even if your site is created to sell a product or service, it will be discredited and ineffective because of the duplicate content.

Even if your site is created to sell a product or service, it will be discredited and ineffective because of the duplicate content.
An example is found here. Go to [http://www.webhostingpapers.com] and look at the layout. That is a site I bought. Then check the duplicate sites I found after spending money for the site and for advertising. Those sites are listed below.
As a followup to this article (which was commissioned for the sake of this followup), I want to list a very good example that taught me the hard way about the pitfalls of not researching to see if a site's content is unique. The article above points out that you probably can't make any money from a site that is duplicate content. So why do people sell such sites? The answer, of course, is greed. The love of money drives people to prey upon unknowing newbies who are trying to delve into the webmaster game. This site that you are seeing right now cost me $100 from a guy on Digital Point forums. I then spent another $200 buying links and so forth. A few weeks later I curiously ran a search from some text in one of the articles on this site.
What I found was unthinkable. I expected the articles weren't unique, but the exact same template and set up is the same on all these sites. I'm not going to help out this predator by putting a link to those sites. You will have to type in these urls into your browser.
Site One: webmasterpapers.com
Note: I changed the background color to white on this site, deleted the RSS feeds on the home page, and added the changes you see here including the paid for article above. Notice the logo at the top of this site? All he did was use photoshop and changed the text in a layer to suit the new domain name. When will this guy stop selling the exact same everything?
Site Two: helpwebmaster.com
Note: This is the same thing. There are probably dozens of these sites. The guy selling these is shameless. I mean, these domain names are easy to come by, that's worth about $8.00 a year. But pressing copy and paste and then selling a site for $100 bucks to unsuspecting newbies? That's just sad. I was a victim. I hope this helps someone avoid becoming a victim. The best bet is to write your own original content. Even if you are bad writer, originality is supremely better than the same thing over and over.

The phrase 'Content is King' has become a mantra for the successful Internet Marketeer and the black-hat SEO consultant alike. It has fuelled my own business and provided me with countless opportunities to connect with individuals and businesses in the UK and Europe, all seeking an advantage over the competition through impressive article content and attractive copy.
I run a creative business that produces both article content and web copy. What's the difference? Content is generally designed to produce traffic, to bring people to your website. Copy is designed to make the customer click 'buy'. The difference isn't subtle, but it is vital.
Quantity vs. Quality
Generally copy equates to quality and content equates to quantity. In the world of SEO web content and copy, that's just how it plays.
I want to change this. I want a revolution of quality. Content can be high quality, copy can be produced in quantity. High quality copy-style content can be produced in volume. We shouldn't be filling the Internet, this amazing research resource with meaningless drivel. Paying some computer literate English-speaking writer in the Third World to produce semi-English articles at $1 per page is not helpful, it is content, but it is the lowest quality copy that might get a click, but is unlikely to make a sale. Content generates leads, copy produces sales.
You can employ a so-called SEO expert who doesn't use writers, they just take articles and put them through the article blender, they use content re-writing software that takes in someone else's articles and churns them out as article-garbage at the other end. However, if you want customers and not just clicks, you need an article writer. If you want clients you need a content writer to write the articles that will draw their attention to you. Real SEO experts know:
Content is not King. Quality Content is King.
Employing a professional content writer is an investment in increased traffic and sales. It's more than just raising your ranked position on Google, although that is very important. It's also about connecting with and effectively communicating with the potential customer or client. It's sharing an idea, a vision, a service, benefit or product with someone who could gain from what you have to offer. Sharing the benefits by using professional quality content writers means articulating those benefits in an attractive and appealing way that informs the client and educates them about your product or services. It's not just bringing the horse to water; it's encouraging it to drink at the same time. If you want the customer or client to search, click and buy from you in one action -
Superior Content is King.

Free One Way Backlinks |
https://tanie-pozycjonowanie.eu/
Nowadays I think pretty much every webmaster and web site owner knows that if you can get more quality backlinks to your web site, it can help you improve your rankings in search engines (especially Google). The higher your rank in search engines, that is to say the nearer the top of the search results you are for searches on relevant keywords, the more traffic that your web site will get. And, the more traffic that your web site gets, the more money you can make, whether it is from selling your own products and services, from commissions on sales of affiliate products, or from advertising programs such as Google AdSense.
One obvious way to get links to your site is to exchange links with other sites. As much as anything is, this might be considered a traditional form of web site promotion. Exchanging links is however time consuming, since you need to spend time finding sites to swap links with, and you must then set up the links and monitor them on an ongoing basis. Another disadvantage of each exchanging links, is of course that you are not just links coming into your site, you also linking to, and sending traffic to, other sites.
If you want other sites to link to you, without having to link back, there are several options:
1. You may be able to find some directories that accept free submissions. Of course, the number of good quality directories that accept free submissions is usually quite limited - as too many free submissions will tend to result in a good quality directory quickly turning to junk.
2. You may be able to pay other sites to link to you. Of course this can cost quite a bit of money, and you may also find that search engines take a dim view of such activity - perhaps penalizing or evening banning your site from their listings!
3. You can provide interesting content on your site (known as "link bait") and simply hope that people choose to link to it. Of course, you may get lucky, but this approach is hit and miss to put it mildly.
4. You can write articles and submit them to article directories. This is actually the best option, since writing a few hundred words about a topic which relates to your business and which you already know something about, is not too difficult. When you submit your article to a directory, you will be allowed to include a "resource box" or "bio" section, which may contain a backlink to your own web site. Additionally, since there are hundreds of article directories, even writing a single article can result in hundreds of backlinks. Of course, the difficulty is that submitting to hundreds of directories can take a lot of effort if done manually - so I'd suggest you invest in some article submitter software, and automate the process. Don't expect massive results from just one article, but if you make writing and submitting articles a regular activity, over time, it can lead to some impressive results.

Google's New Algorithm Leaves an Opening for Competitive Fraud |
https://tanie-pozycjonowanie.eu/
Google's 15th anniversary marked a milestone in their very successful search engine which also brought upon the announcement of their new algorithm that was launched one month earlier; Hummingbird.
Although many SEO tactics had to be changed or modified rapidly to keep up with the new algorithm, Google seemed to have brought upon an even more intelligent way of classifying sites.
However, Penguin 2.1 is far from perfection as weaknesses have recently been spotted within it. The catch is that competing websites can very easily create negative back-links and negative SEO for their competition. This act not only penalizes the website, but it makes it very difficult to get back up again.
Some companies recently became victims of this competitive fraud. Potential competitors created roughly 5000 - 6000 negative links pointing directly towards then, bringing them down in the rankings of Google.
Removing such negative back-links is a long and tedious task to take on and there's no saying when more negative back-links could be added by the competition. The thing is, many people offer to create such links for very affordable prices on freelance websites.
Fortunately, Google addressed this issue with the addition of a backup tool called Disavow Links Tool. This tool allows webmasters to remove the negative links with additional ease. However, for a professional SEO company this tool isn't enough. You see, the problem is that this tool should only be used before Google penalizes a website for the negative SEO tactics, not after.
Once a website has been penalized by Google, the only way to climb back up in organic search rankings is by removing each and every negative back-link one by one. Simply put, Disavow is a great tool for a site that has been able to notice the additional back-links before Google notices them. Prevention is the number one way to avoid dealing with this new competitive fraud. For the aforementioned companies, monitoring the back-links has become more important than ever before.
The importance of using positive SEO tactics has also become more important than ever before. In order to climb back up, websites need to use more SEO procedures that will increase their rankings without penalizing them. It's a delicate art form and there's a fine line between positive and negative SEO.
Monitoring links and performing audits is important in order to avoid negative SEO. It should become a habit for any website owner to check up on the website's back-links daily. From the moment they are detected, they should be removed. SEO methods should be modified slightly in order to adapt to this new trend of competitive fraud. With proper modifications and use of strong positive SEO tactics, this issue can be prevented.

Building Links Through Category Page - SEO |
https://tanie-pozycjonowanie.eu/
In SEO, a category page is similar to an index on your website. On an ebusiness site which sells dog food it is the page that itemizes the types of dog food for sale. On a service site it would be the list of all your services and on a niche SEO information website the category page would possibly itemize SEM/SEO articles.
Category pages are more SEO keyword and keyword phrase rich than your homepage, as a rule. If there is a big competition for your homepage keywords then, as a rule, your category page should include more precise keywords. Also the keywords on your category page will more likely be acceptable. Websites which have only one homepage can embody any amount of category pages and this may increase their traffic. This should please any SEM/SEO analyst as it is their goal to grow your customer base.
There can also be varying stratums of category pages. For instance the first tier page could be Dog food then Adult Dog food and then the final tier could be Vegetarian Adult Dog food. If your website is set up with more than one category level you must fix on the ones on which you wish to spotlight. Sometimes not all the same things can be done on each category level and sometimes they can. Your search engine optimization (SEO) plan should focus on what you want to accomplish most.
Category page SEO will be much easier since most of the links will be internal therefore, coming from different places in your own website. You should use SEO keywords to anchor your text when you link to the category pages. They should stand out when placed in the headings and title tags on the page. It is also helpful for you to write some content that is SEO keyword rich. A paragraph, maybe two, should be plenty. Remember you want your page keyword rich not keyword stuffed, which is a no-no in proper search engine optimization.
Your internal linking is highly important for your SEO. You must be sure that for every level of category page, you have a link on your homepage site map which corresponds to it. It helps to link to the categories from all the pages in your website, though in order to keep your menu small and to have less links only put the main categories. Leave the subcategories to be listed on the category page itself. This will avoid having too many links which can bring down the weight of each link. Search engine optimization (SEO) is a delicate balance between too little and too much so ask a SEM/SEO expert for help.

2.Business Model Innovation: By perfecting the nature of targeted ads, Google not only has created a highly effective revenue generator, it has produced what it hopes to be a better experience for its users. It is Google's goal to make their targeted ads at least as relevant and useful to users as the search results themselves.
