Mike Shinoda moans, and turns over once more on his king sized bed in his million dollar mansion.


"Breaking News! We have just been told that, Chester Bennington lead singer in the hit nu metal rock band Linkin Park, and emcee Mike Shinoda have been in a tragic car accident. We sadly have to tell you Linkin Park fans, and the world that..Chester Bennington, was reported dead on arrival. Mike Shinoda's condition is as of now unknown. We will keep you updated, as information comes in. In other news...."


Mike Shinoda turns over in his sleep, on his king sized be in his million dollar home.

The same million dollar home just two months ago that had been filled with cries of laughter,moans of pleasure, and two people very much in love,

now sits cold and alone like its inhabitant, the only sounds emitting from the mansion now, are screams of terror, and cries of a broken heart.


"Michael Shinoda, do you know where you are?"


"Chester..where's Chester?"


"I'm sorry..but Chester Bennington has passed away."


"What? No..you're wrong!"


"I'm sorry for your loss Mr.Shinoda"


"NO! YOU'RE WRONG! Chester can't be dead! He can't! I need him..."


Mike Shinoda screams, throwing himself up into a sitting position dripping with sweat,


"Chester..Chester, please come back!"


"Please come back...I need you..." Mike Shinoda pleads into the darkness of the once lively million dollar mansion's room.


Mike Shinoda falls back with a cry onto his bed.


Give me a reason to believe you're still gone...

Mike Shinoda heaves his way off of his bed in the now worthless million dollar mansion.


Mike Shinoda then pads across his room, over to his dresser and pulls open a door.


Mike Shinoda moves some of his and his now dead lover's clothes out of the way and pulls out a small little box.


Mike Shinoda walks back to his bed and plops down, opening his small little box to reveal a razor already stained crimson from previous use.


Mike Shinoda rolls up the sleeve to his pajama top to show lines running up and down his arm varieing in color, from white indicating old wounds, to pink, more recent, and red meaning very recenct wounds.


Mike Shinoda searches his arm to find a place not already decorated. When he finds a spot and places the razor over the spot, presses down, and drags the razor in downward motion in an agonizingly slow pace. His arms bursts with a crimson color. His life force seeping out of him, rolling down his arm, and slowly dripping onto his carpet and bed.


Moonlight on the soft brown earth..

It leads me to where you lay..

They took you away from me but now I'm taking you home..


Mike Shinoda now has five new cuts bleeding at a steady pace. Rolling down..down..down..dripping onto the bed and carpet in a room in the million dollar mansion the blood that keeps him alive drains away.


"Chester!! Come back! You're gonna pay for that!" a smiling gleeful Mike Shinoda yells after his screeching lover.


"Never! You shall never catch, 'Chester the Molester'!" Chester squeals back over his shoulder


Finally catching up to Chester Bennington,Mike Shinoda captures him and then both fall to the ground in a pile, smiling Mike Shinoda says gently,


"I'd love to molest you."


"Ladies and Gentlemen, What is the world coming to with Michael Kenji Shinoda wanting to molest me, Chester Charles Bennington?!" Chester teases


Mike just grins lovingly at the love of his life.


Chester goes to say something more, but before he can get a syllable out of his perfect lips, Mike's catch his in a soft, gentle kiss, also teaming with want, and a ferocious protection, and claiming.


Pulling back Mike Shinoda says,

"I'll always be your 'Bear'" Mike nuzzles into Chester's chest breathing in his calming, intoxicating scent.

Mike Shinoda's tears drip down his face, falling onto his cuts as he remembers one of a million good times. That was just, hours before the fatal car accident that would change his life forever. That night was the beginning of the end for Michael Kenji Shinoda. For his love Chester Bennington died in that car accident.


"I'll always be you're 'Noda Bear' Chester..Always and forever. I will always be yours." Mike Shinoda weeps.

Mike Shinoda drags himself up, still bleeding and stumbles across the floor, and out into the hall. Walking his way down the stairs praying to fall and break his neck, Mike Shinoda pads over to the cupboard the he keeps his alcohol in. Rummaging through looking for some hard liquor..

Mike Shinoda sits in a daze with guitarist, Robert Bourden trying to comfort his distressed emcee.

As they layed Chester Bennington to rest, Mike Shinoda breaks down.

Screaming for Chester to come back, that he needs him. Asking why he left?

"Thank you very much! You guys were fucking awesome!" Chester rewards the crowd. As the notes to the last song of the concert 'One Step Closer' flows thru the speakers, the crowd becomes alive once more.


Mike Shinoda has never felt more happy.

"Mike? Mike. Answer the phone. I know you're there. Listen man, we all miss him but you've gotta carry on with your life..its what Chester would've wanted." Brad Delson's voice floats through the room.


Mike Shinoda just wails even louder, screaming he can't go on without him.

Days later we find Mike Shinoda sitting cross legged on his bed in his million dollar mansion, with a notepad in his lap and a pen in his hands, trying to work on some lyrics.


All the King's horses, and all the King's men,

Mike Shinoda rips, and crumples up the paper with his newly written lyrics on them, throwing it away, claiming its 'shit'

Later that night Mike Shinoda is sitting in his bathroom drawing a bath, with his small box sitting on the sink.


Mike Shinoda has decided to end it all tonight.

All the pain,all the suffering, the lonliness, escaping his memories of a lost love.


"Chester...I'll be with you soon.."


And I can't love you, anymore than I do..


With his bath filled as far as he's willing to let it go with almost scalding hot water, Mike Shinoda stands, walks over his mirror and stares at the monster staring back at him.


Stripping his clothes off, Mike Shinoda reaches over to his box, opening it and taking out his salvation. The razor. His savior.


Slicing both his wrists in an upward motion Mike Shinoda walks over and steps into his bath. Hissing at the slight pain, from the heat.


I will stay forever here with you

"Chester..Chester, I'll be with you soon my love." Mike Shinoda breaths out slowly.


"Ch..Chester....I love you so much....My love, I'll be seeing you soon...I love you.." Mike Shinoda says with his dying breath.

Bradford Delson pounds on Mike Shinoda's mansion door, screaming for him to open this door right now, and stop this nonsense.


Finally fed up waiting, Brad pulls out the spair key Mike and Chester gave to him the Christmas before.


Walking in calling softly for his best friend since junior high, Bradford Delson makes his way up towards the master bedroom.


"Mike? Mike, buddy, where are you?" Brad calls quietly as he walks into Mike Shinoda's bedroom.


Seeing the light coming from underneath the bathroom door, and hearing a quiet lapping of water.


Walking to the door, Bradford Delson prays the when he opens it he won't find what he thinks he will find.


Opening the door Brad screams as he witnesses the scene before him.


Michael Shinoda lays dead in his bathtub. The water stained a rich crimson.


On the sink Brad discovers a note.
