Giving one special fan the thrill she'd been wishing for, Tom Hardy spent time with Kayleigh Duff on Monday (May 27).

Suffering from a rare form of liver cancer, the young mother appeared on a British talk show to talk about her diagnosis and her "wish list" which included meeting the "Dark Knight Rises" actor.

Luckily, Tom's fiance Charlotte Riley's sister happened to see the episode and helped arrange the meeting.

Upon meeting the 35-year-old actor, Kayleigh explained to the Canterbury Times, "I nearly died when I saw him. I was shaking - I just thought we were having a day out in London. He was so lovely and down to earth."
