I've followed your instructions:
1. Uninstall SF-8.8.0r18 (Epson) _x64.exe by IObit Uninstall 9.2
2. Clean system and registry etc..by Ashampoo WinOptimizer 17
3. Install SF-8.8.0r5 (Epson) _x64.exe
4. Active SF-8.8.0r5 by Snow Tiger's keygen (Skip Registration)
5. Scan by SF-8.8.0r5 with no problem.
6. ( Without Uninstalling SF-8.8.0r5 ) and Install 8.8.0r18 x64
7. Run SF-8.8.0r18, program auto actived (Skip Registration)
8. Scan by SF-8.8.0r18 the first is no problem.
9. Close r18 and Open again, Scan second gives me blue stripes across the frame!
10. Run SF-8.8.0r5, program no problem.

Maybe r18 request Registration to confirm license, if open second program with Skip Registration, it gives blue stripes across the frame!

After installing SF-8.8.0r14(Epson)_x64.exe that you shared, scan is OK.
And if scan by r18 again gives blue stripes across the frame!
"blue stripes across the frame" is a TRAP of version r18!!
