So there are obvious reasons why movies are rated the way that they are. They are appealing to a certain audience and as such certain content must be omitted. It’s perfectly understandable. However, once can also say that movies, while perhaps not being as successful, would be a lot more badass if they were rated R rather than PG or PG-13. Think about it, all the cheesy lines to cover up foul language or the camera moving away when there is violence would be shown if the film was rated R. While this is not true for all movies,
