Nintendo’s Animal Crossing might just be one of the most soothing video games ever created — and in an age of constantly escalating fear levels, we’re all for anything that’ll help chill everybody out.

Of course, there’s no real pressure because there’s no time limit or real goal to reach. It’s just a free and easy exploration of the island as you gather supplies, invite friends to visit and start your own community of anthropomorphic animals. No, seriously, it’s super tranquil — and incredibly compelling at the same time.
