Анонс Japan Expo 2019 |
Ежегодный конкурс AMV в рамках французского аниме-конвента Japan Expo снова приглашает клипмейкеров со всего мира. Работы на конкурс принимаются до 2 июня включительно, к участию допускаются эксклюзивные клипы, которые ранее не публиковались в сети. Принимается одна работа от одного участника. Результаты конкурса будут объявлены в ходе конвента (4-7 июля), победителей по традиции ожидают призы (аниме-фигурки).

Hey guys, here's my entry for #STICXV. For this particular clip I tried to show a different perspective of what a Psychedelic category video can be. I used quite a few elements and ideas I've always loved dearly and the video ended up having a big amount of emotional charge for me. If I would have had more time I would have tried to perfect the manipulations, especially the phone manipulation.

This video and the next one I'll be releasing are what I call, appropriately enough, "Roulette videos". Named for the now defunct AMV Roulette contest, where the contestants would put together in a week a video based on random requirements.
While these videos weren't necessarily random, they were made quickly without any real pre-planning or intimate knowledge of the source footage. That tactic has served me well in the past. I saw an amv or two with Kakegurui and hoped that the vague video idea would work out. And for the most part it did, though I'll admit that as I got closer to the end I was running very low on appropriate clips.
As for concept, I don't like to wax philosophical about such things. But for the sake of context, I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and have seen more than my share of gambling addicts behaving stupidly over and over again. If there's one thing about this show I appreciate, it's how awful and grotesque everyone looks when anything seems to be going their way.
In any case, I hope you enjoy.

I made drama this year because I was running out of inspiration in fun. ( And also for the ultimate 1V1 vs Luna eheh) Finally, the result is a strange but quite interesting edit. I'll let you judge, in the meantime, I'll prepare my return in fun next year! Fortunately I had my crew to support me. MUKAN NO GOSHO ! So it gives that! Have fun!

Комментарий автора: Wooooo j'ai fait l'IC et j'ai pas drop. Bravo. Pour l'amv je trouve qu'il ce mate mais manque de quelque truc, à vous de juger. Ma v2 est proche de ma v1 genre j'etais partie sur une grosse deter pour faire une v2 ultra lourde puis j'ai vite drop le fait de faire un v2 trop complexe et j'ai juste upgrade quelque bidule. Gros gg au orga et gl à eux pour tout ses classements infini.

Работу делал 3 дня, очень много души вложил в клип и пытался сделать нормальный кроссовер, надеюсь у меня получилось. В категории "Action" получилось занять второе место, думаю в этом году это был хороший результат для меня после Mix Con. Похоже это моя карма занимать вторые места lol

Комментарий автора: Back at it with at action fam—although this one fall under dramaction probably. I've been slaving over this video for a little over a month and am quite happy with how it turned out! I was in the mood for editing with this genre of music again, and my search for sources led me to this one. Technically, this series is not an anime, it is Chinese, but it looked dope, so I decided to edit with it. This video was by far the trickest action video I have done so far. This music genre is difficult to edit because I have to match the beats and instrumentals of the song while also trying to keep up with the emotion of the vocals, but it was a really fun challenge!
If you like cool fighting, gay boys, and historical/fantasy series, I recommend this. I will also make at least one other big video with this series after the second season has been released.
I have one other big video, that's a collab, I plan to release soon that I plan to release as well!
Also, special thanks to everyone that helped beta test this. There were a lot of you because this video was a struggle to get right, and it wouldn't have turned out nearly as well without that quality feedback.

Hello! This is my project that I edited for 3 days for the Allstars IC, the plot of this amv has a lot of potential,but I feel like I wasted it because I decided to edit it in just 3 days... I honestlyI tried to make a second version of this amv but I just could not, simply all my inspiration to continue this project disappeared ... So I had decided that I would never post this amv (as I have done with many of my amvs), I have canceled many projects, and it seems that this has become a vice, I have been overwhelmed by an avalanche of canceled projects!
