Mozilla Science Lab: Announcing our global sprint 2015 |
Join us as we collaborate on projects helping further science on the open web! We’re back with our second global sprint June 4-5, 2015. We could use your help to make this year’s event bigger and better than last.
Our inaugural sprint last July (#mozsprint, for short) brought together over 100 members of the community, from librarians to developers to bench scientists to hack for two-days on open science projects. Over 22 cities around the world were represented (53 hours of consecutive hacking!), and we need your help to do it again this June.
We’ve just opened our call for project ideas and site host (you’re welcome to sign up for both!):
You can read about all of the projects last year here in our wrap up and hear from one of our participants here.
Interested? Head on over to our planning etherpad and add your details, or drop us a note at sciencelab@mozillafoundation.org. We hope you’ll come and collaborate with us as we help research thrive on the open web.
