In our experience, these Martens are so beautiful, but so difficult to photograph!

In many cases, part of the cause lies in their enclosures, but so much of it is their natural curious behavior. When they're awake, they're super active and curious - the constant moving and getting to close is a realy challenge

Luckily, there *are* quiet moments too

Species: Yellow-Throated Marten (Maleise bonte marter)

Latin name: Martes Flavigula

Originates from Eastern Asia.

Current status: Least Concern

&The Yellow-Throated Marten is the largest Marten in the Old World.

& It is probably the most ancient form of the Marten.

& The Yellow-Throated Marten holds a rather unpleasant odor to itself.
