Most referred to Aiden Korovin as 'the mad scientist'. His genius mind was respected far beyond the borders of the Darkaian community he came from, but everybody knew his ideas were in controversial and he never valued human life that much. The guy would even sell his friends and family to science, was what was said about him, and this statement unfortunately proved to be surprisingly true.

Only a few wondered what made a person like him the way he was. Aiden was never born in a loving home within the protection of his parents. Both of his parents were scientists that worked in the labs of the Ground Zero organisation and spend most of their time working. Aiden, as a child, was more or less raised in those labs and ought to take care of himself while his parents were at work. He saw his father occasionally, and his mother even less, and spend most of his time around books and high-tech machinery. But the labs were a dangerous place and not suited for children at all. Accidents happened, so did the one in which Aiden eventually lost his arm. As cruel as it was, it was that one event that lead him to reflect on his status and the status of humanity in general. If humans were that easy to damage, were they actually worthy of life? Wasn't it better to opt for a lifeform that wasn't that weak, or perhaps wasn't even human?

And with this, the the #inktober challenge has gotten to an end for me.
I've produced 12 drawings, and considering my health, that isn't too badly for me. I can't say I've gotten completely comfortable with ink as a medium yet, but I've become a lot more comfortable with things like hatching and line height. Perhaps I can even do better line-art now
